Chapter Two: kingdom Ectopia

There was a red sky in the sky, yellow grass and trees on the field, and golden sand on the floor.

In the center of the city, there was a deep hole that was covered with glass that was shining brightly like a bulb, brightening the whole city. It was as if it had a great light energy source coming out of the hole.

 Around this hole, surrounded a few longhouses, and a golden majestic Castle which stood firm at the south side of the city.

The Energy which was buried at the center of the city was the life source of this world and also the thing that made this planet the strongest planet in the universe.

A lot of enemies had come for the energy sources but no one made it alive.

Inside the golden Castle, a happy family was happily having their breakfast. They all sat at a table laughing and chatting cheerfully.

Their laughter was cheerful. It was also infectious.

" Dad, are you sure you want to hand over this kingdom to Kein? Someone who can't even protect himself" Carisa mocked.

( They were speaking in an unknown language but I had to translate it)

Everyone burst into laughter at Carisa's remark. Everyone except one person.

Kein tightened his face at his elder sister's comment. He dropped his chopping stick on the table and glared at his sister.

" If you were such a good ruler, why didn't father hand it over to you in the first place?" Kein retorted with anger.

" Hey chill, it's just a joke" Carisa raised her hand in a defect.

" There are some jokes that do not sound like a joke," Kein fumed.

" Hey, both of you calm down. We are just trying to have a happy family dinner here, not a battle " Their mom interfered in the matter to ease the burning atmosphere.

One thing was common among all the members of this world and that thing was their golden bright hairs.

They all had sticking features and good faces. They almost appear like humans if not for their elves like ears and golden hairs.

Kein was seventeen this year and the kingdom was to be handed to him when he turns eighteen next year. So his family was in great demand.

" You kids are great kids and good rulers. I know that both of you will do well in the contribution of making our planet a great planet"

" Ectopia is the smallest planet in the whole universe and still the strongest among all. I hope you guys can carry this legacy on even after we leave this world"

" Leave this world?" Carisa scoffed, " You can't go to another planet and leave us here to rule alone. Your parents didn't treat you guys like that"

The king and his wife laughed at their daughter's ignorance.

" Blocked head, they mean when their life span ends" Kein corrected his sister, " Are you sure you are 19?"

Carisa rolled her eyes at her brother, " Sure you know better" she said sarcastically.

" And when that happens, our bodies turn into fragrance and disappear into space" The king elaborated more.

" And you guys won't be alive anymore?" Carisa asked.

" Yes" 

" But I haven't seen anybody that turned into a fragrance before" 

" That is because…"

The king was about to explain how the fragrance thing works to his daughter when suddenly, the sky started getting dark.

" What is happening?" the queen was confused about the change of weather, " Another invasion?"

" It seems like it, let's go check it out" 

The king and the whole household stood to go see their new guest.

Meanwhile, at the spaceship, the blinding light and rumbling sound have finally stopped and they all could be able to see the environment they appeared in.

They could see the red sky, yellow fields, and golden floor, but where they were more focused was on the brightening white light coming from the hole at the center of the city.

" Is that the energy source?" Lewis, who seemed surprised by the environment he found himself in, asked.

Here was the thing he had wasted most of his time in space searching. The worst part was that the thing was not even in space, instead, it was here. No wonder he wasn't able to see it again after six years. 

But how could the radiation of the energy be reaching space from here?

" uh, now you finally found out that we are heading in the same direction", Dizirala's voice sounded again in the ship, "Well, welcome to Ectopia, but now is not the time to be excited, okay? but the time to prepare yourself for the things coming next". 

" No one comes into this planet and goes back alive, that was the reason I didn't come myself but to use you guys to get what I want since we both want the same thing" 

However, this time it annoyed Jaden who was getting infuriated with the invisible lady.  

" Hey invisible lady, this isn't funny or scaring us anymore. How can you be using us instead of you coming down yourself? Didn't it show that you are a coward?"

" Hahaha" the cruel queen laughed maniacally, " You can say whatever you want but I hope I might see you someday after you die today"

" I was called the cruel queen because I use everyone around me to achieve what I want, I wanted to use my subjects in the first place, then you guys came along and the plan changed. So I will take that as a compliment"

" And you know that we will die?" Lewis asked with a timid voice.

" Yes, you guys were not of any use in the first place. I wanted to kill you guys myself after you disturbed my planet but changed my plan later on after I overheard you guys talking about the energy sources I have always dreamed of" 

" So I used you. I am not a human if that's what is running in your mind but can hear every species' language across the universe and speak them" She was being honest. 

" So now why don't we greet the people that came out to welcome us" 

She was talking about the king and his household

Soon, all the weapons on the ship started activating themselves and rearranging themselves.

A battle was about to take place.
