Chapter Fifteen: S.I.A

As the policemen continued to launch the bullets at Kein, it kept bouncing away as if it was touching an iron.

" He is inhuman!" the first policeman shouted as soon as he noticed that they weren't doing something with an ordinary human, " Let's get out of here before it's too late" 

" You are right. We can't kill him, he is not a human, and my hands are in pain from shooting for so long". The second policeman agreed.

" Officer Stanley was right. Look he is not even moving, he is even using us to play a child's play" 

Upon all the bullets being shot at Kein, he didn't move or bulge. He stood there looking at them as if he was looking at immature kids.

He didn't want to kill for now. He wanted them to enjoy the little time they had before jumping into the play to finish what they had started.

" Let's get out of here" the policeman informed his colleagues as they took to their heels.

Kein gave a sinister smile as he watched the three humans sprint off, " too late for that" he said and went after them.

He jumped up high in the sky so he could fly from there and get to his prey as quickly as possible but unfortunately, after jumping over a building, he fell again.

"Ugh!" Kein let out a groan of frustration as he stomped his feet on the ground, " what is happening to me? What is this force that is pulling me down? What are humans seeming again?" 

He tried to fly again but the same thing happened, so without having much choice, Kein decided to chase the policemen with his legs.

Immediately Jaden came out of his apartment, he waved down a taxi to take him to S.I.A, and the taxi driver collected 50 cents for taking him there.

 Luckily for Jaden, he had saved a little amount of money in his room over the days he stayed on Earth before he left for space and that was what he used to pay the taxi driver. The rest of his money was stored in the bank.

When he arrived at the central city, he noticed a long skyscraper building that stood firm at the center of the city, showcasing its authority and usefulness to the world.

And their Symbol (S.I.A ), boldly written in front of the gate of the building.

This agency was established after the alien invasion in 2000. At the time of the invasion, humans were so weak and useless. Many lives were taken and a lot of things were tarnished. Humans became too afraid to live on their planets because of how badly they were intimidated while those with spaceships escaped from Earth to live in space.

The human race could have been cleared out if not for the short lifespan of the aliens.

After killing almost half of the population of the human race,  the aliens decided to return to their home planets, because their time was almost up, leaving only a few numbers of humans alive to rebuild their world.

So after learning a lesson from the invasion, humans decided among themselves to get stronger, so that they could be able to defend their planets when faced with the same situation again.

And that was how S.I.A came to pass.

S.I.A was an organization that makes use of science to produce different types of weapons and other scientific equipment or material that would be of help whenever they were to come across an inhuman again.

Their latest experiment they had was on how to make a human become inhuman so the person could be their greatest weapon against aliens.

They did that by adding an artificial gene to a human, making the person an exception of a human.

They wanted humans to have different abilities to protect themselves when faced with difficult situations but the experiment didn't succeed, rather it left the specimen paralyzed. Even after trying it for the fourth time, it came out with the same result.

Jaden stayed out of the gate for a while to take in the sight before entering inside and as soon as he entered, every eye went to him.

There were surprised looks on everyone's faces, which confused Jaden even more.

After walking for so long at the far end corridor, and passing by all the creepy gazes, Jaden reached the elevator.

The elevator marks the end of the section ( group one) and the next floor starts the beginning of the next section ( group 2).

And it continues like that still on the highest floor.

In S.I.A, there were five groups. The first group was the beginner's group (group one) where one has to be taught the things of the organization and those that passed the stage after the examination would be recruited into the agency and sent to their different groups where their skills and knowledge are most needed.

 But no one has ever been sent to group five.

Because those in group five were the founders of S.I.A. No one knows how they look or how old they are because no one has ever been to the room.

It has been over a hundred years since the last invasion, so people are wondering how the founders were still alive over the years and haven't died.

However, no one attempted to clear the curiosity with an answer.

The only information they heard was that some of the founders are dead but a majority of them are still alive, kept in a secret room, away from everyone else and no one was allowed to venture into group five.

Jaden's group, group 2 ( SPACE SUPERVISION DEPARTMENT) was in control of supervising whatever happens in space.

Each team was given a spaceship and a captain to control the ship and the job.

 That was how they discovered the Energy core which changed the direction of their job into something that brought a different outcome.

As Jaden was about to enter his line of duty, he came across doctor Beasley.
