A Bountiful Harvest and Shelter Upgrade to 3

Billy kept on checking his shelter and system panel and discovered he obtained 10 points today before the upgrade of the shelter, which meant he can obtain 10 points every day from his level 1 shelter. But now, since the shelter has been upgraded to level 2, he can obtain 20 points for free everyday.

He checked the upgrade requirements for a level 3 shelter and saw that he needed;

150 woods, 100 iron, 100 steel of iron, 200 leaves, 50 crystal gems and 200 points to upgrade the shelter to level 3.

Billy was quite anxious but became relax after realizing that he can obtain one crystal gem from killing zombies and other kinds of monsters. Presently, he has enough crystal gems for the shelter upgrade. Presently, what he needed was 20 steel of iron to upgrade the shelter to level 3.

He had enough points, to summon some soldiers and workers. So he wants more hands on to improve on the gathering of resources and killing of zombies and monsters.

Billy decided to summon 10 soldiers and 5 workers. As soon as they were summon he ordered 2 of the 5 workers to go out to gather and collect resources and will be followed by 3 of the soldiers as escorts for protection. The remaining 2 soldiers were ordered to clear the surroundings from monsters and zombies and be careful. Each team left to perform their tasks. 

Billy was left with 2 soldiers protecting the shelter and surveying the surroundings and 1 soldier protecting him directly and equally had 3 workers left, so he ordered them to build the carpenter building first, followed by the blacksmith building and finally, the training center up to level 2. 

And these buildings can be built with crystal gems instead of points which can help him to save a lot on them for the future. 

Presently, he has enough resources to build them so he ordered them to build it as soon as possible and build 10 more houses and raise them to level 2. It was about 11 am in the morning, so he guess that all of the building will be completed by 5 pm in the evening. After all, when the carpenter building is built he will directly summon the 2 carpenters to assist in the construction, followed by the blacksmith building where he will equally summon the 2 blacksmiths to aid in construction to hasten the construction speed. 

Billy equally discovered that after killing zombies he will earn gold coins from his system, approximately 2 gold coins for a level 1 zombie and monster killed each, 4 gold coins for level 2 zombie and monster killed each, 6 gold coins for a level 3 zombie and monster killed each.......

He kept the gold coins, fully aware that he has an advantage on trade to develop his shelter with his system and can trade in this world with them although he doesn't know yet how the currency exchange works. For now, Billy needed to focus on the shelter development. Billy was quite excited about the future but kept his calm after remembering that this world is filled with challenges which can lead to death if not careful. 

Billy also saw that this time the shelter needed crystal gems which meant that the upgrade will be quite interesting, he was interested in knowing how the shelter upgrade to level 3 will look like but for now he needed to focus on the present.

Presently, the shelter needed level 1 crystal gems from level 1 zombies for the upgrade to level 3 so he decided that he will only use level 1 crystal gems and not above since he doesn't know what requirements the third upgrade will look like and what resources it will require.

At another area, the territory of Cain,

At the Lauren village,

The Lauren village was attacked by a horde of more than 1000 zombies. Many villagers were killed and turned into zombies others turned onto pieces, young, old, babies, all were not spared. A few dozen survivors managed to escape but couldn't go to the Cain city because the road was blocked. 

So they decided to find a way to survive and wait for support from the main city but couldn't stay in the village because their lives were in danger. So the few survivors went the opposite direction hoping not to be discovered by the horde and finding a place safe.

At the shelter,

Billy continued with his routine of inspecting the territory and supervising the work effectiveness and efficiency.

Later on in the evening, before dark, everyone was back.

The loots obtained was huge and the resources gathered were great. This made it a bountiful harvest, enough for the next upgrade. Billy complimented all his workers and soldiers for their hard and able performance. All of them were excited hearing their lord praise them and bowed in gratitude. This little appreciation from their lord improved their morals and increased their loyalty quite a bit.

Billy equally confirmed that all the buildings were completed and raised to level 2 and nodded in satisfaction.

Billy immediately initiated the upgrade of the shelter.

Upgrade complete, shelter has now developed and now occupies 2 square kilometers.

The fences has upgraded to a bronze level wall of 5 meters tall and 1 meter thick.

All buildings and wall has upgraded to level 3>

The territory barrier has been upgraded to bronze level.

The host has obtained 100 gold coins.

New building blueprints which includes; alchemy workshop building blueprint, architect building blueprint and the guard post building blueprint.

The host has obtained new features to control and oversee the shelter. 

The host has obtained 2 new skills which are; first skill is a bronze shied armor (when activated by the host, it protects the host from bronze level attacks and below).

  Second skill, wind blade (when activated by the host can cause some level of injury to bronze level enemy and can directly kill enemies below the bronze level).

The host has obtained 1 new type of summon, archer (support type soldier, can deal long range attacks, 10 points per summon)>

Billy was very satisfied with the upgrade of the shelter. Now, he can see a mini map of the shelter and know what happens within the territory, those who trespass in his territory without his knowledge.

Billy checked the information of each blueprint and discovered that apart from the architect building blueprint which had one summon, the remaining 2 building blueprints had 2 summons each.

The shelter upgrade equally increased the summoning of each building by 1, that's for the carpenter building, blacksmith building and the camp training building. After Billy summoned them, the carpenter workshop now had a total of 3 summons, the blacksmith building had 3 summons and finally the training camp center had a total of 2 summons.

As for the new blueprints he just acquired, he plans to build and upgrade them tomorrow.

Billy forgot to open the previous 2 iron chests, coupled with this newly obtained bronze chest, he plans to open it and see what the system offered him.

He started with the iron chests first, in the first chest he obtained basic materials (50 woods, 50 iron, 50 steel of iron, 100 leaves and 30 elemental stones), the second iron chest had the same thing.

Whereas the bronze iron chest had only a blueprint. Upon close inspection, it was the arrow tower building blueprint. It has 2 summons in charge of operating them.

Billy kept them aside and decided to take a rest, he ordered 4 soldiers to take turns to guard the shelter each for 2 hours and the remaining to take a sleep and prepare for tomorrow activity. He began to plan the activities of tomorrow and check the shelter's added features. Such as the exchange shop which has now spacial ability to exchange products directly from the warehouse to the customer or resident in contribution points from the exchange shop without the need to transport them from warehouse to the exchange shop. 

Equally, the warehouse now 100,000 cubic space storage system for non living things, and has space time ability that prevents food, equipments, weapons and other kind of resources from getting bad/spoil and remain in the state from when they were placed in.

Another interesting discovery, was the guard post building and the arrow tower building which had defensive capabilities.

Such as in the case of the guard post building, it had 2 guard summons with bronze tier strength, who protect the shelter and controls those that enter the shelter and leave. With this, Billy no longer needed to leave his soldiers to protect the shelter. He can now focus on gathering resources in full and killing zombies and monsters. 

With the addition of the arrow tower, he felt an added sense of security for the shelter. What he needed now is to focus on increasing strength of the army and upgrading the shelter.

After checking all his gains, he decided to go to bed and prepare himself for the next day.
