The dark, poisonous cloud completely obscured the light, pressing heavily upon their heads, making everyone feel dizzy.
When Lind returned to the Snake People Outpost, he saw soldiers struggling desperately.
The standing soldiers, with their damaged armor, had skin blackened and glowing with poison.
However, more of the fallen soldiers belonged to the Snake People Outpost.
"My lord!" Seeing Lind and the others return, Riff gathered new strength.
His body was pierced by arrows in multiple places, and it was only his willpower that kept him from falling.
Many present were in the same condition.
Lind released Lance and Serene, both of whom were also badly hurt, although not as close to death as Riff was; even magic would hardly heal their bodies easily.
