I giggled a bit feeling a bit goofy, then got angry. “You will do NO such thing. He did nothing wrong! He brought me food when everyone else would have had me starved! I offered to repay the kindness and share! No one told me that was a thing! He refused and ran out! I believe the guard laughed at him!” I shouted.
He ground his teeth and took a deep breath. “What was his name? So, I may… thank him,” he ground out.
“You won’t hurt him?” I asked dubiously.
He let his breath out in what I swore was a draygony curse.
“No, I will not hurt him,” he promised.
“Swear it!”
“I swear I will not hurt this Draygon.”
“Cross your heart and hope to die?” I said with a giggle and goofy smile, feeling the urge to tease him.
“Mara!” he shouted; his patience gone.
Laughing, I took pity on him.
“Fine! It was Treddian. But I promise if even one scale is discolored, you will have me to answer to,” I snapped, glaring at him a bit.
“Treddian,” he repeated gently.
