The Book of Loki(Discontinued)

In a space that lesser beings could only perceive as darkness, there were several books on podiums and a new one had appeared. In an instant, a dark figure appeared and looked upon the book, instantly perceiving it. "Gather around all who can hear for a fantastical tale is to be revealed!" the dark figure boomed As he said that, many dark figures similar to him appeared before one of them said; "Oh, great one. What is this tale that even you shall call it fantastical?" "This tale is about a young boy not of that world reborn into one of its many gods. His adventures, his relationships, and much more will be told in this tale. This tale that I shall call "The Book of Loki" is going to be one you love my children and remember, the language of lesser beings is quite different compared to ours, so make sure to listen and translate it properly." "Oh, look, look it's about to start." one of the younger-looking dark figures said After they said that, everyone turned their eyes to the book as a small projection began to play as words appeared on the page. There will be some added concepts or characters from other fiction that will work themselves into the story. There will be a harem, but it's a small one with only three wives. If you're a Norse mythology fan, you'd know two of them. I'll try to post once a week This is posted on Webnovel (No images are mine)

Unwanted Knowledge

"I saw the birth of the universe and watched as time ran out. Moment by moment until nothing remained -- no time, no space, just me. I've walked in universes where the laws of physics were devised by the mind of a madman. I've watched universes freeze and creations burn. I have seen things you wouldn't believe. I have lost things you will never understand. And I know things. Secrets that must never be told. Knowledge that must never be spoken."

------------------

Loki felt himself being pushed and pulled by waves of something until he found himself in a space of nothingness. Absolute emptiness where not even a speck of dust existed. There was no time, no space, no matter, no energy. It was an almost empty void, as silent as the grave. A golden silhouette of a man stood in contemplation for a while, then suddenly snapped his fingers and an explosion erupted from the emptiness. It was the beginning of everything, the birth of the universe.

Space itself seemed to expand, stretching out in all directions. It was like a balloon being inflated, growing larger and larger with each passing moment. The energy from the explosion cooled as space expanded, and as a result, subatomic particles began to form.

Atoms, the building blocks of matter, began to form and combine into more complex structures. Clouds of gas and dust began to gather, pulled together by gravity, and eventually, they formed stars.

These stars were the first beacons of light in the universe. They shone brilliantly, illuminating the darkness of space, and as they burned, they created heavier elements that would eventually give rise to planets and life.

As time passed, galaxies formed, massive structures made up of billions of stars. They spun and twirled in the vastness of space, like dancers in a cosmic ballet.

And so, the universe continued to evolve and change, expanding and contracting, birthing and dying, in a never-ending cycle of creation and destruction.

Loki saw all of that down to the most minute particles and his mind was scarred. It was beautiful yet haunting. The golden silhouette smiled before winking at him. Then he felt it again, that feeling as if in a turbulent ocean. He saw many different realities in the ocean and saw different universes with different laws being formed and saw them die.

Could you imagine it? The sounds of trillions, no, an uncountable number of people screaming out and crying. It was deafening to him; he'd almost gone mad.

He found himself back in the first universe he'd seen being born and found himself flung towards an ancient Earth. When he was just above its atmosphere, he suddenly stopped, and everything except him seemed to move. The Earth began to cool, and he saw the golden silhouette move upon the face of the water before it said, "Let there be light."

Loki saw all around and saw it was all an ocean. Who he believed to be God raised one piece of land after he had created Heaven. There he created all sorts of ancestors of all the animals we know, and there were many animals that he'd never heard of or seen. This was Eden, the first land on Earth and the place where God had created Adam and Eve.

Then once more everything around him seemed to move. When the moving stopped, he looked upon an almost completed Earth. There was no Europe, but there were some places that seemed to have been made. He could see Greece, India, Canada, South America, Africa, Most of Non-European Russia, and more. In each place, there seemed to be barriers of some sort that he felt only he could see, one covered Greece, another covered Egypt and more.

Loki found himself flung in the direction of Greece before stopping right above its barrier. In Greece, Ouranos was still the ruler of Greece, and he had just birthed the Hecatoncheires and then the Cyclops. The Hecatoncheires were older than the Cyclops by a while.

In Loki's head, thoughts were being formed, but before he could properly cement them, he was pushed again, this time to Eden. In Eden, there was only one person there and it was Adam he seemed to be playing with the animals and having fun but Loki could tell there was a sense of loneliness behind that smile.

He was flung once more towards Egypt and he saw a lush and verdant forest unlike the Egypt of the 20th century which was a desert. In Egypt, He saw a relatively peaceful time with Ra being the pharaoh of the gods and he was making his trip across the sky.

He was flung over and over again to many places and he saw so many things about the Earth and the Beginning of it. He found himself at the gates of Heaven and in front of him was a man that was an angel.

This man had a face like lightning, his eyes like torches of fire, and his arms and feet like bruised bronze, but these were not the most noticeable aspects of him; rather, six pairs of golden wings unveiled themselves dazzlingly from behind his back. He smiled at me before speaking and his voice was like the voice of a crowd.

"Hello, Painter of Midgard, God has sent me to deliver a message so that you may understand. His words to you are, it was indeed 𝗛𝗶𝗺 that did 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 and he is the progenitor of all the gods for he is Ginnungagap, Kháos, Nun and too many names to count. You were chosen for you are special but do not be taken hold by arrogance for while you are special you are also insignificant to many. Now you may return home."

Before Loki got to say anything he found himself being pushed towards where Europe would be and as he flew down he saw a crack in the sky in the direction of the north that seemingly appeared and he flew straight into it and found himself back in Nifleheim.

As he flew back into his body he jumped up in fright out of the bed. His entire body was drenched and his eyes began to flood with tears. His mind had learnt so many things. Things he didn't want to know but now he was forever cursed with this knowledge.

He screamed to the point that his voice was far beyond hoarse there wasn't a word to describe it and his eyes stopped flooding with tears and instead flooded with blood. He was in pure agonizing pain for his brain was processing all of the knowledge he had seen. After he stopped screaming he curled up in a ball and over and over said;

"I'm sorry"

"I'm sorry"

"I'm sorry"

"I'm sorry"

"I'm sorry"

In a dark space, a dark silhouette was howling with laughter and started to smile before speaking in a deep and raspy voice.

The figure began to cackle once more.
