The entire country was mourning.
Around three thousand lives were lost in a senseless massacre. The five werepires invaded three towns on their way to the north: Cliffwatch, Ravenfall, and Riverdale.
Two werepires were killed by Ryan Caldwell and Brett Youngshaper each at Riverdale. The three remaining werepires were detained separately at the most sophisticated, highly advanced security prison for further investigation.
All other towns and cities were scanned thoroughly for any threat before their inhabitants were allowed to return to their living spaces.
Riverdale with the large number of casualties was still in a better shape compared to Ravenfall and Cliffwatch, where more than half of the townspeople perished during the attack.
Only two hundred people altogether survived in the flash massacre that befell both towns. They mostly passed out under a pile of corpses and thus escaped a tragic fate.
