Trapped and Betrayed

A large group of people walk into the forest stealthily, watching and listening to their surroundings warily. Emilia follows the group while jumping from tree to tree, as per her agreement with her brothers. She watches from overhead, both for leverage and her own safety. Experience has taught Emilia and Dietrich that their enemies can't climb trees, making them the perfect protection if things get too out of hand.

Dietrich accidentally steps on a twig and winces at the echoing crack it makes in the otherwise silent forest. Patrick and Isaac glare at him angrily then Isaac's eyes widen. "Guys, we're missing some people." He says while looking around the decreased number of soldiers. "Where's that one guy at? Jack or whatever his name was, he was behind you last I checked." Patrick adds in, searching their ranks for the trainee.
