The Blank Silver Forest

There was once a kind god in the Divine Realm. He befriended various gods and creatures even in the mortal realm, but his friendly approach to those of the Demon Realm had him falsely accused of having devious plots to overthrow the realm of gods. Before he could go defend himself, those he had considered friends forcibly used his body as divine energy and separated his soul to cast it into the Spirit Realm. The Phoenix God from another realm of gods found his soul and helped him gain a new body and identity for revenge. He will pay those who had hurt him with not words, but nightmares from his own pain. Can a god reborn with a bleak outlook on life complete his goals and earn peace for his past self?

Kind God’s Prologue (Part 1)

A divine soul could not easily wither away like a normal soul, whose chance of reincarnation was less than zero. It would have reincarnated safely if the divine realm had taken care of the Spirit Realm a lot better.

Because of negligence, the Spirit Realm is a barren wasteland of false paradise and ruins. Many mortal souls that come here have long withered and broken away without chances of reincarnation or ever being heard of anymore.

And because of this negligence, the divine realm refuses to change responsibility onto the other realms of gods. The cycle repeats forever and ever. Until now.

The divine soul casted onto this barren realm was none other than a kind god who was utterly stricken with shock and stupor from the betrayal of his closest friends.

Knowing that he couldn't go back to his body, the young adolescent god had no way of ever getting out of the Spirit Realm once he had arrived.

A soul without a physical body cannot exit the realm was a rule bound to this place.

Therefore, he can't confront those he used to see as friends for revenge. In that case, he'll use his remaining time to try and find spiritual energy to replenish his soul even if there's no hope of it being found.

He wandered around a long time for any source of spiritual veins yet found none that could help with his soul.

Will he really end up withering away in due time?

No, he shall not!

He must find a way to return to the divine realm and exact revenge!

But then how would he be able to do so?

He didn't have any plans thought out for that goal.

After thinking for a bit, he concluded that Instead of confronting them too soon he must gather power, strength, and schemes before making moves on the wicked!

Since there are no spiritual veins on the surface of the Spirit Realm, could the land still have a core deep within its earth?

If the realm is still trying to hold together then the core must still be active. That's where all the spiritual energy is at if it can't make it to the surface!

But. . .how will he get down to the core?

If he had a physical body, it would have been easy to get down there.

As he was thinking about how to get to the realm's core, the stomping sounds of boots alerted him to hide himself behind a rock. His soul peeked around the corner to see two heavenly guards of the Divine Realm looking around, as if searching for something.

'What are they doing here?'

The divine soul recalled the two men being related to one of the people that betrayed him. Could it be that they were searching for him?

"The Spirit Realm's core should be around here somewhere. Once we reach the center, we have to go down to it."

"And then we absorb all of the core's energy to put the Spirit Realm out of its misery. Lord Winter Coral is very kind to let it rest in peace."

Winter Coral is very kind?

Such blasphemous lies. A poisonous winter snake like him was indeed very kind to the god who he killed with the help of the others!

"Hey Cosmic Mirror, I found the spot!"

"Wow Jade Mirage, no wonder Lord Winter Coral had his eyes set on you! He's seen your talent to scouting things!"

"And no wonder he also chose you because you understand his words that I cannot comprehend at times!"

The two heavenly soldiers have joyous laughter complimenting each other as the one named Cosmic Mirror opens up the earth with a cosmic space portal. They both head into the portal to the realm core while the kind god follows along their trail.

Once they reached to the center of the Spirit Realm's earth, the heavenly soldier duo walked out of the portal to see the bright golden color of the large spherical core in front of them.

When the kind god appeared out of the portal, he was caught by the second guard named Jade Mirage with a clear shield cage.

"Well well well, look who joined us. Cosmic Mirror, we seem to have a stowaway spirit here."

"That's not a spirit, Jade Mirage. Spirits would have spiritual bodies, and that's clearly a soul without a form. But this soul is golden in color. . .could it be a divine soul?"

"Cosmic Mirror, you're joking right? Why would a divine soul enter the dying Spirit Realm? Besides, Lord Winter Coral has taught us a method if we were to find a lost soul with great spiritual energy."

"But Jade Mirage, the lord's method is dangerous to use. He said that you must not rely upon it lest it makes you addictive to absorbing spiritual power, energy and become insane!"

"When did the lord say that it was dangerous? Lord Winter Coral said that this method was safe and that we will easily acquire great power to ascend into a god."

Jade Mirage unsheathes his sword and stabs Cosmic Mirror deep in the abdomen who took two steps backwards in surprise.

"J-Jade Mirage, what are you doing? Why did you stab me?!!"

"The lord was right. You see through all of his words and doubt the lord's personality, knowing that his goals are far from being kind."

The kind god watches the situation in silence and shock, yet earnestly listening.

"Cosmic Mirror, the lord already knows that you have witnessed the graceful death of the kind god and had plans to silence you. After all, you were the one who chattered to the other divine realms about the incident."

Cosmic Mirror shook once and stood still as the kind and divine soul looked over to him wondrously. To think a man of Winter Coral's people would tell the other divine realms about what happened.

Wouldn't that cause a massive strained relationship with them?
