The man sat down next to the chair. His blonde hair shown with grease while his face held a complex reaction as if a multiple choice question was asked of him. This man was Jessica's father and while he held a regal town Patrick was nervous.

"Jeez Patrick calm down," A skinny man said smoking a cigar he had two women by his side wearing just corsets their breasts and skin covered in bruises and cuts.

Prostitution was legal in many countries but they were treated as humans and helped by the local government/authorities in protecting them. But people like Jean, the man holding the two women, were traffickers he had helped import several dozen women and created an exotic sex ring right near the border town of Shala with no rules on how to handle the goods.

"Jean get those things out of here our special guest is almost here and while I would enjoy some eye candy," Patrick started with an exasperated sigh " I'd rather not take the risk, specially given what this 'game' is about."

"Girls get the fuck out please," Jean said slapping both on their asses. Looking at them as they left Jean studied Patrick before speaking again "Is this why Violett wasn't invites today, I know she tends to cheat but that what makes it fun." His smirk just annoyed Patrick.

Suddenly knock was heard on the door as the two men looked back. Jean's smirk seemed to wilt a little as he played with his thin mustache "Unless that's your bitch of a daughter I think the guest of honor is here."

Patrick looked at Jean seemingly regretting his choices to invite him. "The doors open." He said and Kara walked in, she studied the two men as she gently closed the wooden door.

Kara sat down and smiled at the cards laid out three sets of five a basic start to grimp. "Well Patrick shall we start on the game."

Quietly Patrick sat down and began his turn drawing from the deck in the middle he studied his hand. "Kara you've come a long way, could I treat you to some wine?" He said playing a five of spades and indicated it was Jean's turn.

Kara shook her head as she studied her own hand "No, getting drunk sounds like a bad idea specially with present company." She said.

Jean passed his smirk gone, in front of him he had another five but this one was of hearts. Studying the newest of them Jean seemed to radiate different energy suspicious of Kara.

Kara started her turn "News travels fast." She said playing two cards both hearts but one three and the other a two "The Eternal Saint Hephestus decided to crack down on crimes specially within noble factions."

Passing her turn with a hint of sarcasm Kara stayed silent looking at Patrick who had seemed stiff at Kara's words, it was obvious she was already in the lead, Grimp was that kind of game though.
