The Trial Part 4

I arrived at the FBI headquarters and as soon as I did, I found Nadine Memphis at the entrance to the parking lot waiting for me, she was wearing a men's shirt and jeans, and athletic shoes.

I parked my car, a black Dodge Charger, and got out. "Hello, Nadine!"

Nadine Memphis. "Hello, Alex!

Do you have any idea what you're going to do to help Bob Lee?"

"Calm down, I'm not going to let anything happen to Bob Lee, I just need to know what happened and how it happened and I'll fix it quickly, relax."

Nadine Memphis. "Are you telling me you don't know what's going on at Bob Lee's trial?"

"Well... It wasn't supposed to be the Bob Lee trial, it was supposed to be a trial in the South African dictator murder case, right?"

Nadine took a deep breath and said. "It was meant to be, but the Judge treated Bob Lee as the prime suspect, he was not treating Bob as a possible witness, he was treating him as the prime suspect and he was linking him to all the evidence and making up motives and insinuating that he was the culprit."

"Wait, my team is working on the case and they're gathering evidence.

I'm expecting a report by the end of the day, don't worry, I'll get Bob Lee out of this."

Nadine Memphis. "Can you tell me why Bob Lee is being treated this way, is someone targeting him?"

"You should already know that things aren't as simple as they seem, I think you noticed that right here, on the day of the attack on this agency.

To summarize, Bob Lee is being targeted by a certain very powerful organization, as you may have noticed.

I'll fix this situation, now take me to Bob Lee!"

Nadine Memphis. "He's in a special cell, it looks like next Thursday he's going to a military court, for exoneration."

"If it's up to me, he's not going anywhere but his house.

I've already received an email with all the information on the Bob Lee case.

"Nadine Memphis." And what's the worst problem?"

I walked into the building and told Nadine. "Take me to him and you will naturally understand the whole situation, it's not worth explaining everything twice."

Nadine Memphis. "Alright, follow me."

I stopped walking and waited for Nadine to pass in front of me, so I followed her to Bob Lee's cell, arriving there I greeted him and sat down in front of him.

"Hi, Bob!

How are they treating you?"

Bob Lee. " I am fine.

I just don't understand why the accusations, I didn't commit any crime!

Am I a witness to a crime, why am I being treated like a criminal?

Didn't you say everything was going to be okay, because I don't feel calm then?"

"Relax, Bob!

I already had a look at your file and I also looked at the life of the judge who is in the case of the South African Dictator, it's all connected.

They are corrupt and you are the victim of their petty power."

Bob Lee. " What do I do now?"

"First you have to understand the situation you are in right now.

First, your gun was found at the crime scene, you and the prime suspect.

You've been seen investigating the location and also bought ammo from another faction.

A lot of evidence points to you and the conspiracy is behind it all, manipulating the situation to get you arrested for murdering the Dictator."

Bob Lee. "Okay, but how are they going to manipulate the military court?"

"Your military judgment is to remove you from your current rank and expel you from the army.

This trial is about a woman's escort operation in Iraq, and it also has something to do with her friend Donny Fan, who was crippled on this mission."

Bob Lee. "What! Why would I lose my rank and be exonerated because of it?"
