Chapter 33: The Gunshot Echoed
After Elias swiftly eliminated the vampire's servant, Isabella's light laughter echoed from the depths of the dark alley.
"Using mithril weapons, I see. You really came prepared, Elias!"
"But that won't be enough~"
As she finished speaking, Elias noticed the scent of blood in the alley growing stronger. Accompanying this scent were rustling sounds from all around.
Elias tightened his grip on his revolver, cautiously scanning the surroundings.
In the dark alley, several lean shadows appeared, like hounds that had caught the scent of food, rapidly closing in on him.
One, two, three...
A total of six.
The [Mithril Bullets] were exceedingly rare, and Elias had only a little over ten rounds.
If his aim was true, he might fend off this wave of attack, but he didn't know how many more thralls Isabella could summon.
And she, herself, was still lurking in the shadows...
