They walked out of the cafeteria and down a hall.
"Because he isn't keeping it a secret; seriously, where have you been these past weeks? Oh yeah, you've been avoiding him since that day he nursed you to health." Tranae's eyes rolled skyward then she focused on Cianne. "Well, the last few weeks he's been asking everyone about you, even me. I told you this already."
Cianne didn't remember that conversation. In truth, she was having trouble remembering anything at all lately. Her mind has been clouded with more visions and nightmares than ever before. Plus, with the stressful prospect of leaving her father to attend college, Cianne felt overwhelmed.
"It doesn't matter. I don't date."
