4 Conquering someone's heart

"What are you waiting for?" asked Maggie on the other end.

"I want to go home when I've conquered a woman's heart, mom," Ken replied.

Hearing Lukman's whisper, Ken immediately realized and walked quickly to Lidya who, as usual, was walking with her two friends and staff, Clara and Yuni.

Kevin looked at Clara and Yuni in turn but, they were still relaxed in their places.

"What are you saying?" asked Lidya curiously. Her beautiful eyes looked at Ken intently.

"If I may, tonight, I'd like to take you to dinner," Ken said hopefully while looking into Lidya's beautiful eyes.

Clara and Yuni immediately chuckled after hearing Ken's words. They both felt that Lidya, their friend and boss, would definitely refuse Ken's request.

"Hahahaha. Rejected. Hahaha," Yuni laughed out loud while holding her stomach after hearing Lidya's words.

"Is it good? Hahaha," Clara laughed mockingly at Ken.

Ken immediately winced at their laughter. The sound of Clara and Yuni's deliberately loud laughter attracted a friend of theirs, Billy, to enter the crowd. Billy immediately joined in the laughter when he heard what happened from Clara and Yuni.

"Poor you!!!" Billy said to Ken, accompanied by mocking laughter from Clara and Yuni to Ken.

Seeing that, Ken just smiled slightly and he nodded towards Lidya. He hid his disappointment and immediately turned his body to leave Lidya.

"Wait. I mean, tonight I have to go with my mom. But, I can go with you tomorrow night," Lidya said from behind.
