We shouldn't be doing this, what if she finds out?

Sarah was going back to her room when she heard her sister talking. She walked down gently to know what was going on

We both know this is wrong, you're dating my sister we're secretly having an affair, what would she do when she finds out that you've been having an affair with me? Elizabeth said

Maxin chuckled...And who will tell her? he asked

I don't know but I feel like she will find out soon enough... Elizabeth said sounding bothered.

"No need to worry baby girl, she will never find out unless you tell her," Maxin said smiling slightly.

Tears flowed down Sarah's eyes like floods of water, she felt like her heart had been shattered into a million pieces. She wasn't thinking straight anymore after what she heard...she cried bitterly but without making any sound for them to hear.

She walked down to her room feeling devastated, she never thought her sister would do something like that to her.

"Wasn't I enough"

Why did he do this to me after all the love and promises he made to me...Sarah thought to herself.

Lost in thought Sarah didn't know when she dozed off.

"Wakey wakey"...Sarah heard her mum say.... opening her eyes she saw her mum smiling looking right back at her.

"What happened" the mum asked as Sarah opened her eyes....

Sarah didn't say a word, she got off her bed without looking back at her mum.

"Hey sis what's wrong, you look so pale," Elizabeth said sounding worried.

She was heading to the kitchen when she heard her sister call out to her, Sarah didn't even budge as she walked past her sister, grabbed cereal and went outside for fresh air.

"Mom please not now" Sarah said to her mum who approached her with a distressed face.

But you don't seem Good dear..what is wrong, talk to me, remember I'm your mother and you can tell me...

Sarah!!! Kate interrupted...

Oh Hello Mrs Jones How are you doing?

Just as she referred the question to Mrs Kate she turned to Sarah and was despondent by what she saw.

Sarah what's wrong"Kate asked worried for her best friend

I'll leave both of you then Mrs Jones said as she left Sarah and Kate on the balcony straight back into the house.

Just as Sarah was about to start narrating what happened tears flowed like a river down to her neck and this made Kate more serious and anxious to know what was going on with her best friend.

"Sarah please talk to me You're getting me worried and you know I don't like it when you're down or something is and you're keeping it from me"....kate said hugging her best friend

Her voice breaking, "Max...Maxin is... Maxin is cheating on me" Sarah cried harder still hugging her best friend

Kate was in ultimate shock when she heard what Sarah just said to her..." that bitch" Kate said angrily, how could he be so heartless to do something like that to you, what did he gain by doing this to a beautiful and calm soul like you.

You don't have to cry over a moron who knows nothing about what's he about to lose anyway and to be very honest he doesn't deserve you he never actually deserved you, Kate told her friend as she was patting her continuously at her back. "Let's go and get you dressed up," Kate said

As Kate and Sarah passed by the living room, Mrs Jones and Elizabeth looked at each other in utmost confusion.

As Sarah and Kate were about leaving Sarah said in a low tune "Tell Dad that I Will spend the night in Kate's house if he asks my whereabouts".Sarah left with Kate without uttering another word.

Kate drove down to the restaurant beside her house to have a heart-to-heart talk with her best friend.

They reached their destination and went inside. The restaurant was very cool and cosy... Kate and Sarah went to the VIP section so as not to be disturbed.

After making their selves comfortable Kate asked "What would you like to have"

"Nothing" Sarah replied quietly

C'mon girl, cheer up." okay how about pizza" Sarah said trying to lighten up the mood but Sarah didn't give a glimpse of happiness in her which made Kate sad too.

Kate asked again, Tell me what happened and how you found out that he's been cheating on you.

"MY SISTER" Sarah said as teared up.

The room was filled with complete silence for some time before Kate muttered "What?"
