"Why are you here, Brother?" Diana asked as she made her way down. She frowned when she saw the proximity between him and Melody. Although the idea was already in her head but she just could not believe that her brother had taken a chance on a woman and that too, her friend.
"I think we she should give her a reply," Melody said in a whisper. She had stopped trying to break free from his arms and just let him hold her. There was something wrong so she allowed him to draw the strength he needed from her.
"She is not a child to not understand," he said but he still loosened his hold around her and broke the hug but his back was still facing Diana. He planted a soft kiss on her forehead and cupped her face and then asked, "Where is Shadow, I would like to speak with him," he inquired.
