Madeline didn't get angry. Instead, she smiled, as if she had heard something funny. "Maisy, you are even more naive than I thought."
Maisy frowned in confusion. She didn't know why Madeline said this.
"When you gave birth to Lucas, you did so in the name of surrogacy." Madeline sneered. "Now, you call yourself the mother of the child?"
