Chapter 16

　　After what felt like forever, they got to the hospital. Adam got down from the back passenger seat, then proceeded into the building. A couple of staff there recognized him so they greeted him. Adam responded by nodding.

　　Central Hospital was his family’s hospital and also one of the best in the United States. Adam hated hospitals and heaven knew he could count how many times he had been here.

　　Asking for directions made no sense since Adam had an idea of where Thelma Sleeves would be.

　　Coming out of the elevator that led to the 4th floor, Adam made his way to where the VIP wards were.

　　Before he could think of or gamble which of the wards Thelma was, he saw two familiar faces standing outside the door to one of the rooms. Adam predicted them to be his father’s bodyguards so he walked in their direction.

　　“Good morning, sir.” The two hefty men greeted at the same time.

　　“Thelma Sleeves?” He said, pointing towards the door.
