“You have to ask?!” James glared at Ronan.
I watched the two of them glaring at each other.
“Do you mind? Don’t I get a say in this?” I didn’t really want a bachelorette party seeing as our wedding was a fake. Besides, I only had one friend and I wasn’t even sure if she would come to my wedding.
“No!” James said.
“Jesus, James. She’s not your child, for God’s sake.” Ronan sprang off the couch sending his drink flying off the end table.
“I know that, but you know how those girls can be and I’m not letting them get Destiny into trouble.” James got up to get a towel from the kitchen. I followed him.
“There you go again not trusting me. I would never do anything I don’t want to.” I grabbed his arm. “Besides, you can’t forbid me to go.” I pushed my chin out defiantly.
He grabbed a dishtowel from the rack and stomped back. He threw the towel at Ronan.
