At the same time, Asher and Elsa placed their palms upon the mysterious white color star crystals. Upon immediate first contact, Asher and Elsa quirked their eyebrows.

'So smooth….'

They honestly didn't know what feeling to expect when touching a unique-looking crystal like this one, but a soft pillow-like sensation was not one of them.

The softness was so soothing that Asher and Elsa felt their minds legitimately relaxed, providing them with slightly better focus.

Asher and Elsa only took a moment to enjoy the soft sensation before focusing back on their primary task. As unique as this sensation was, they had an examination to pass.

Once again, at the same time, the duo poured a continuous stream of Mana Energy into the Star-shaped crystals.

Going into this examination, both Asher and Elsa held supremely high confidence over their control over Mana Energy. Thinking this would be a breeze, the duo was nearly caught off guard by the energy force within the Star Crystals.

A more intent gaze crossed onto Asher and Elsa's face. The energy force within the Star Crystals was surprisingly chaotic.

The energy force immediately clashed with Asher and Elsa's Mana Energy, attempting to vaporize their energy.

'Not bad….' Asher had to give it up to this Star Crystal.

If he was still at the Early level of control for Spirit Mana energy, this would have been a bit difficult for him.

However, Asher was making leaps of progress with his Spirit Mana energy control every day. Even after reaching the intermediate level of control, Asher was making rapid progress in solidifying his phantom images already.

Against the Star Crystal energy force, Asher regarded it as nothing more than a slight hurdle to jump over.

Asher didn't even have to pour more Spirit Mana Energy to counteract the chaotic force. Using the same small stream of Spirit Mana Energy, he expertly spread his energy around to cover the entirety of the Star Crystal energy force.

In reality, there actually wasn't much energy in the Star Crystal. What made it troublesome was its destructive properties that would make any uncontrolled stream of Spirit Mana Energy burst to nothingness.

After covering the Star Crystal energy force, Asher then poured a greater abundance of energy within it.

Since the Star Crystal energy force was stabilized, nothing could impede Asher's overwhelming energy. Soon enough, Asher started to feel the Star Crystal vibrate within his palms.

His eyes caught spiderweb-like cracks quickly spread all over the Star Crystal from the immense energy he was pouring into it.

This process continued for only five whole seconds.

And right then, Asher and Elsa's Star Crystals lit up in a blinding white flashing brilliance!

'Ka-Cha!'

At the same time, both Asher and Elsa's Star Crystals shattered into thousands of tiny pieces, causing a bright white glow to cover the entire testing room.

"Wha-what?!"

The staff overseeing their examination was absolutely bewildered. He went utterly rigid, his expression morphing into utter disbelief, unbelieving the show currently unfolding.

"It's only been a measly five seconds!!"

Despite the stable calmness of all staff within the Burning Night Pit Organization, the overseer truly couldn't contain his emotions at this time.

Unknowingly, Asher and Elsa had just achieved a feat only a rare select few had ever performed. And nobody but the overseer would ever know about this feat.

Asher and Elsa weren't even currently aware of the overseer's reaction.

When the Star Crystals exploded, they both felt a harmless form of energy flowed into their bodies.

Because of the bright white energy glow, they couldn't clearly see what was going on. But, they didn't have to wait long to find out as the white energy soon started to morph into a unique object.

In just a few seconds, the white energy glow receded, allowing everyone in the room to see two new objects floating in the air.

"Oh? This is a nice design." Asher leaked his thoughts as he, Elsa, and the overseer gazed upon two white color badges floating just a few feet above them.

Both badges had a unique, intricate design that neither Asher nor Elsa ever saw before. It almost looked like something out of an ancient tomb that they had studied about from their history textbooks.

"Hmm….I suppose we should just…."

As Elsa wondered what to do with the floating badges, she stretched out her palm towards her specific one.

And surprisingly, the white badge floated right towards her palm as if there was a magnetic pull between them.

Watching her do it, Asher performed the same motion towards his specific badge, similarly causing the badge to get pulled towards his palm.

With their badges in hand, Asher and Elsa shared a brief glance with each other. Seeing how so easily and quickly they've done the exam, Asher and Elsa could only shrug their shoulders.

They weren't even trying to show; this was simply too easy for them. Both Asher and Elsa have genius comprehension and expert control over Mana Energy. They would have found it strange if they couldn't do an exam like this.

"You….you two….already a Night Badge…."

The shock tone of the overseer caused Asher and Elsa to turn over to him.

"Not even a match fought yet, and we're already passing expectations, huh?" Asher lightly joked to Elsa.

Elsa didn't even respond to Asher's remark, only feeling wry at how calm he's being even though they're going to participate in something brutal very soon.

In a quiet tone, she was the one to ask the overseer, "Are we done yet? Can we participate in matches now?"

"Oh-Ah….Yes, you can….keep those Night Badges on you when you arrive at the Vendor." The overseer essentially spoke on pure instinct alone.

His mind still couldn't get over the insane control these seemingly ordinary System Soul cultivators have. It didn't matter that Asher and Elsa were entirely different realms.

Mana energy control should not come smoothly for any average person. In fact, the overseer didn't even mention this to the couple, but this examination has a high seventy percent chance of failure.

Moreover, the ones who pass would have a natural powerful Magical Aura that already gives a taste of their prowess.

Yet, neither Asher nor Elsa exuded any grand power as if they could control their Magical Auras nearly perfectly.

Asher and Elsa, however, already moved past this moment. Unaware of the massive feat they pulled off, the duo simply nodded at the overseer before walking out of the room.

Once the overseer was alone, left to stew on his thoughts, an idea streaked into his mind.

'Surely that abnormality can't be ignored….and they're going to fight right now. Alright….this should catch one of the executives' interest….'

After walking out of the examination room, Asher and Elsa didn't delay for a single moment. They made a beeline straight towards the Pit Fight area.

Although, when they had first exited the white space room, the duo noticed the few people in the exam room cast strange gazes on them. Even the receptionists behind the desk level the same ludicrous look, just like the overseer had.

Asher and Elsa only took little notice of this; their minds were too focused on their upcoming matches.

From their fights today, even though they both were assured about their prowess, a single careless mishap could lead to their deaths. Moreover, they also had to prepare themselves to kill another being that wasn't a Mana monster.

However, Asher wasn't really bothered by that idea at all.

Elsa was the one who still held slightly mixed thoughts about that action. But with Asher by her side, she felt calm enough to go through with any decision in the heat of the moment.

With their impeccable memories, Asher and Elsa didn't take long to arrive back down in the Pit Fight area. Compared to the first time they've been here, there was now a full line at the audience vendor.

But with the matches sign-up vendors, it still was sparse with people.

When Asher and Elsa finally came down here, the matches vendor had just finished dealing with a customer.

Before walking up, Asher and Elsa briefly wonder why there aren't as many people willing to participate in matches.

Just looking on the audience's side, there certainly was no shortage of people willing to watch these brutal death fights. Moreover, chilling aspects like death wouldn't be much to stop veteran cultivators from fighting to score a huge profit.

For now, though, Asher and Elsa shuffled the thought for later, curious about the structure of the Burning Night Pit Organization.

And without a moment delayed, they strolled right up to the matches vendor and had encountered a middle-aged woman working behind the counter.

Like it was her natural instinct, the Vendor peered right at the Night Badges in both Asher and Elsa's hands.

Without saying anything or a change in her blank expression, she promptly took out several electronic tablets. Each tablet had a list of various cultivators codenames detailing their matches stats and cultivation realm.

Once again, Asher and Elsa found themselves interested in the technology of this organization as they sensed that these tablets have nearly the same form of energy flowing within their Night Badges.

"For today, the pools to fight aren't much. But, the ones which are available are all experienced and powerful in their rights. Choose with caution." The woman vendor explained to the couple.

Asher and Elsa shared one look over with each other, both nodding at the same time as they already discussed a plan beforehand.

"Wish me luck," Asher said before going up first to choose his opponent.
