'You're too large for her to carry you, she can't!' He yelled back as well. He had to be sure he wasn't considering assuming command.
The dog turned to face Alan and gave him a terrifying glare. Alan laughed and fixed his gaze squarely on the it. Then, Alan noticed that wasn't a dog, it was also a werewolf. He hadn't felt any treat yet and so he knew it wouldn't harm his mate.
It began to recognize him as a beta of a pack at that point and wriggled free of her clutches out of fear.
'Good, hurry up, tiny one.' Through the partially damaged window glass, Scott yelled as he and Alan watched it run towards the backyard.
That was no puppy there, that was a young werewolf, Alan said, acknowledging Scott's worry. Later, we'll find out.
