A New Start

"Shit, I died." A small gray ball of light says into the void.

"You seem calm for a dead man young one" A disembodied voice states before a huge ball of white light begins to form where it came from.

"The amount of times I've heard that. Minus the young one part." A male voice replies from the gray ball. 

"So what do you remember last? Young One?" the huge ball of light questions.

"Kinda weird for me to be called "Young" when I was in my early 140's" the small ball replies.

"140's? You humans barely get to live for a century, and yet you almost lived for a century and a half. But still, I've existed for eons which, and do correct me if I'm wrong, is a bit longer than a century and a half?" the huge ball says with a hint of amusement before continuing on "So Young Hero, what can you remember?".

/Earlier

A moving truck rushes through the busy streets of San Francisco getting shot at with heavy rapid fire. "Damn cult can't let this sexy fossil die in peace." an old man holding a 50 caliber sniper on his right arm says as he bangs on the wall causing the back of the truck to open with the fire still going revealing the old man with an aimed shot

"WHEN YOU MEET YOUR GOD TELL THEM I SENT YA!" He said getting shot in shoulder

The car explodes which kills some side liners and the old man

/Currently

"Wait!. That weapon looks like it's meant to be steadied with two hands. How did you manage to do that as your version of human?" The Goddess asks.

 "I've existed for 140 plus years, I've adapted and overcame any obstacle in my path with difficulty. While it did shatter my arm, I looked pretty badass when I look back at it." The male says with an audible grin.

\A Couple Of Hours Earlier

The snow comes down in a semi-blizzard like tempo on a dark night where a mansion has all the lights out with occasional flashes

"The Corvus is brea- tell my daughter I hate he-!" the voice runs silent as sound of a sniper riffle rings through the halls

A Sapphire blue-ball dress blows from the sudden gust of wind from the hall. "I guess the damage from earlier was fatal." Its wearer, A female with long brown hair, says as she looks out her window

"We need to get you out of here madam Elizabeth." A calm female voice says

"He'll catch us." Elizabeth says calmly leaning up from off the window "Plus, I feel like today is perfect for dying."

A loud thud sound happens just as thunder crashes. "Damn straight." Corvus adds dramatically after snapping the worried person's neck

Elizabeth looks at the body and then at Corvus, then grins. "We've been nemeses for what? My whole life? 38 years. You've fucked every single one of my love interests and instead of being mad about you doing it, I got mad that it was never me."

She sighs "I'll let you live again, but! I need you to kill the hero after they kill the demon's royalty."

"Aren't heroes the good guys? Why kill this one? Oh my god Villain origin story!?"

The ball leaves an audible silence "Yes they are. But this one's descendant destroys the timeline and attempts multiversal domination."A silence falls in the space like plain. "I'll let you pick 5 skills before I revive you." The goddess cuts the ice
