I can't control my anger whenever I see that jerk.

I want to kick his face and crush it on the floor.

Heleina's been very difficult to understand... Or more like..., she is like that towards me... Only.

That's all she's telling me whenever she sees me.

It's like she's giving me the cold shoulder.

During practice, I would check up on Jaz, just making sure he hasn't noticed me yet, who I really am ...

"Dyl, be more aggressive ok? Growl it out if you can" he was smiling like a silly person. He's gotten crazy. Jaz was in a good mood.

"Why do you check up on him a lot? "

"No. I just want to be attentive"

"Doesn't look like it. It seems you're searching for something. Checking out his abs maybe?" Karlie teased.

This other evil jerk is annoying and cute at the same time.

He was serious every time he's outside the band. On a normal school day... He would wear headphones, with his guitar, and then look scary serious mode.

He smiles a lot in practice.

That's making me curious.

What is his reason for smiling during band practice?

"OK! That's the end of it today. Dyl, please do something about the power of your voice. It's there but it needs more ." Jaz said. He also winked at me afterward

Does he think that I have a thing for him? Is he serious?

I packed up faster than the others. I need to go to my friends this time. This schedule is going to kill me.

"Dylan!" Jaz called me out.

"Yeah?" I replied, not looking in his eyes and making sure of the distance between us.

"Do you happen to know someone from your batch? Jadis Chrysler?"

That's me you dummy!

"Yeah" I replied, still packing up fast.

" Can you give this to her?" he handed me a letter.

A stationary letter with hearts on it? What a weirdo.

" Sure, ok" I got the letter and put it in the pocket of my bag.

"Don't read it. If I found out that you didn't give that to her and you told someone else about it, I will humiliate you."

Is he threatening me? I know you more than those girls, idiot.

"Yeah" I left as fast as I could.

Why would he give me this letter? What is this about?

It was from Chloe.

"Where are you?" she asked.

"on my way. I'll be there in a jiffy.bye," I hung up.

I need to see this letter first.

I know you're wondering why I wrote you this letter. I know I have always been mean to you and naughty, most of the time.

I didn't mean to. It was just exciting to see your reactions.

I would like to ask you for a date.

I don't want to do it in person cause I tried once but you suddenly freaked out.

"What the hell?!" I was confused and clueless and I don't know anymore. It was more than mixed emotions.

I drove off to Heleina and Chloe. We hang out but it was different around Heleina. She is cold towards me.

Just because of that guy.

He will get what he deserves. And that is trouble.

TUESDAY. Lunch

I saw him with his friends except for Karlie. I guess he's somewhere sleeping again. I can feel him glancing towards my direction because I can also see Heleina's irritated by my presence so I told them that I'll go ahead first.

I walked my way to the library to have some peace. Passed by the vending machine and bought some iced tea.

"So you like raspberry iced tea. Noted!" It was Jaz, watching my every move. I looked around to check if Chloe or Heleina is around.

"If you're checking your friends, they're busy talking to the other band members. It's just you and me here"

That scares me. You being here alone with me.

"What made you think that I like being alone with you?" Get back at him.

"You didn't get the letter then, I thought that would soften you up around me but I guess that Dylan screwed up. Tsk!" He looked pissed and embarrassed at the same time.

"I got the letter. I just don't want to believe every word you said because I know it's all lies" you have ways with women I am very familiar with.

"Oh, why is that?" He walks in my direction. Trying to intimidate me with his height and aura.

"Simple. You are the LIE" walked away, went to the library, and sat on the crowded table so he won't have space to sit beside me.

I saw him enter the library, surprised to see a lot of students in the room.

Tsk, gotcha. You can't flirt here.

"I see you got a way out of me. But I won't lose" He whispered in my ear. I feel the warmth on my cheeks.

He gestured for the guy beside me to move. The guy was hesitant at first, but Jaz eyed him for a while and I think that scared the other guy.

I'm screwed, fuck!

The guy moved out of his chair and transferred to the next table.

"Jadis! There you are!"

It was Chloe who saved me,

"We've been looking for you, Heleina is actually loo---" She saw Jaz standing next to her,

She was surprised. Stunned.

"Hi! You're Chloe, right? I know you know me but I'll still introduce myself. I'm Jaz Ford. Nice to meet you"

He held out his hand for a handshake.

Chloe held his hand but her face was so red.

"H...h..hi!" Chloe said.

"There you are." Heleina arrived. She saw Chloe and Jaz shaking hands and smiling at each other.

I can see her face turned serious to annoyed.

"So what is happening this time?" Heleina said.

The moment Chloe heard Heleina's voice, he released her hand from Jaz and looked at Heleina.

"Hi. You're Heleina. Jadis's friend."

I saw her mouth move into a whisper. But smiled afterward.

"Yeah, and we're going now" Heleina grabbed Chloe's hand and walked away from Jaz.

"Jadis, are you coming?" She glared at me on the side where Jaz can't see.

I nod as a yes. Grabbed my stuff and walked past Jaz.

"I will pick you up on Friday," he whispered as I walked past him and saw him smirk.

This moron is really killing me.

I know I'm in deep trouble because of him.

But I will surely get back to you.
