A full recovery!

- Inside the Inner Court of the Huo Dynasty

Today the head of the Huo dynasty had his first day off in over 60 years, he now had the chance to leave the Yang Dynasty's Imperial Court.

The Huo continent is controlled by the Yang dynasty, all diplomatic and military orders that get passed or denied go through the Spiritual Yang court system, after going through multiple screenings.

For something to get passed as a law or a new set of regulations in a low county or district, it has to pass through the local city council. After 2 months of review, it then gets sent to the City Lord or Mayor's office, to be then sent to a district court where they pass it to their Royal Court. Then further up through the court systems if it keeps getting approved.

For Example -

The Yang Empyrean can tell people on his council what he'd like to pass as a new law, then his chancellor tells one of the judges in his Supreme Yang Court. They file the bill to one of the men that work on the floor of the Fire Senate.

If they approve of it, it then gets discussed on where the bill should start first, then spread after being passed down through the lower Courts going through the closest Imperial Dragon Court, then going through one of the five Royal Fire Courts, controlled by the rulers of the five domains on the continent.

After that, it would be split into one of the 9 prefectures Noble Drake Courts ruled by a council of members from sky kingdoms. Then it would be followed up by, going into one of the five district Fire Lord Court inside each prefecture, then into one of the 3 counties inside each district.

Authors Note -

Think of the Top Supreme Yang Court as the US Supreme Court in the U.S, and the Imperial Dragon Courts as the Courts that help break up the workload for the Continent.

Then it gets broken up even more by splitting up the continent into five domains at the head of each Domain is a Royal Fire Court as leader of passing judgment on mortals or cultivators that break the law in that domain.

Noble Drake Courts are equivalent to State Courts in the US and are at the top of each country on the Huo Continent, which is split into 3 levels, 1st level serves as the head of each country, 2nd level serves as the head of each prefecture, the 3rd level serves as the head of every 5 districts.

The lowest courts in the system on the continent, the Fire Lord Courts serve justice out in every city.

Right now, the head of the entire Huo dynasty and had just gotten a break and now had been just assaulted by a wave of killing intent and Spirit Qi. Causing everyone to panic and scream and look for this man, causing him to fly into a fit of rage fit for a 10-year-old.

That includes the Arch-Dukes, Marquesses, Earls, Counts, Viscounts, and smaller nobles that rule over lands.

The attack that hit earlier across the Huo Continent, then the rest of the planet from Qiang Shizi, created a disturbance and attracted the attention of all the higher-ups on the Huo Continent, and the rulers and experts on the other continents.

There were now large groups of people in the upper echelon of the world, started making their way over to the Huo Continent. It created a somewhat anomaly among the echelon that watched from the top.

They're flying ships, beasts, and other things on their way over to the Huo continent. The people that were on the top of the pyramid of the Huo continent could feel it in their bones.

"Great just great, now we have to be more on edge Marqueses Luo."

"I'm sure everything will be alright, we had people visit the continent before."

A man was slowly looking around, he was stressed, tired and grumpy from a lack of sleep. From not getting a rest in the two last weeks. He walked slowly towards a restaurant. unknown to him, he was being followed by two men. He had been followed the whole way here.

"There he is, thanks gosh I got you to shut up, or we really would have been screwed and lost him."

"Oh, shut it old man! You lost him all on your own 4 days ago all on your own. I left for like 3 mins to go to the bathroom and guess what you lost him all on your own. If I showed up just another minute later, we would have failed our mission!"

"He changed his clothes in an alleyway real fast how was I supposed to know it was him."

"He went from wearing his clan's all-white Taoist robe outfit to wearing a black cape and a straw kasa hat. There was no one else around!"

"Yeah, yeah!"

"I still can't really believe you passed the spy training as a teenager. If you tried to do that next year at the recruitment, I bet you'd fail epically!"

Another five minutes went by and a man in a dark blood red robe and black kasa hat walked in and walked by the pretty waitress not even giving her a second to ask him a question. He walked past her and as he did, he slightly grazed her and she got shoved into the podium, near the front entrance of the restaurant.

The man sat down at the table that he was listening to, behind him.

( Okay he's here, to meet my target! )

"Your early Jilie!"

"You're here, so I guess I'm not early then!"

"I guess you could say I'm early as well, but I was outside watching and waiting for you to show up."

( Shit, the guy he was going to meet was already here! )

"Well!"

"Well, what!?"

"Well Jilie, did you really give that sandalwood box to Bai Hu?"

"Yes Sir, I really did give that box to him!"

"Oh, really then why did I hear that from someone random at a bar, through a game of cards that he received a report last week from his elders that Bai Hu, has made a full recovery!"

The suspicious man, slammed his fist onto the table shaking it, and knocking the jar of Huangjiu over. Giving everyone and the pretty waitress serving their table a scare.

- Outside the restruant

The other man outside was sitting and eating happily, chattering with the old couple that owned and operated the food cart. It was around the corner from the Red Lotus Restaurant, he had a seat at the end of the bar in front of the food cart stall. He could see the front entrance from where he was sitting.

( Damn this idiot Shen Shui is taking too long, I better go see what's up. Let's change my outfit. )

Elder Siji Ning walked into the restaurant, wearing a grey outfit with silver lotus on the cuffs of his sleeves and collar on his Taoist robe. He tied his hair into a top knot with straw kasa on his head to hide his face, and step his sword onto his waist instead of tieing it to his back.

After meeting the waitress at the front door, he walked to a table near a window, then placed his items onto the table and waited.

"What can I get you, sir?"

"A bowl of grilled pork and rice and a serving of cooked fish and a bottle of sake please."

"Yes sir, right away!"

"She gave a slight bow, then left."

"Remeber Jilie, we own you. You asked us for a favor and then you thought you could go back on the deal and reneged on our deal. Then you thought you could just walk away after we found you and apologized to us. No that's not how that works, you shrewd up and now there are consequences for your actions. So we now have your kids and if you want to see them again then you'll play our game and do as we tell you to do!"

At this point, both Shen Shui and Elder Siji Ning were chimed into the conversation between both the men at that table talking in hushed tones.

The man Jilie was now frowning and showing a pale face but his eyes had changed to slit eyes like a cat or some type of snake.

"I don't like that look there Jilie, you should change it!"

The man sitting across from Jilie was now, angry and gave an evil grin, and released his killing intent a little bit, causing the surrounding area to feel a little heat. Then a small wind came and the man felt it, so he released his killing intent as in a way to make it seem as if the wind changed the temperature naturally.

"Now, now Jilie remember, we can still take your wife or even that nasty mother-in-law or even that sweet mother of yours."

"You wouldn't do that ...

"Oh, but I could and I would, now Jilie if it wasn't enough for us to take your kids, and that wasn't enough to convince you, we can take more than that to persuade you to listen to our orders and to them for us without question."

"But Protector Hou Miki, I did what you wanted!"

When the man heard him say his name the man, lost his cool and got angry that this time, Shen Shui had a reaction, got up and picked up his kasa hat and sword placed two silver coins onto the table hard then looked at the table behind him and released his aura and some killing intent walked out as if he was disturbed by Hou Miki disruption.

"I'm out this place keeps getting louder!"

"Sir wait !!!

Shen Shui walked out of the Red Lotus Restaurant fast and then walked across the street and entered the Snow Lake bar.

"That man paid too much, oh well."

Hou Miki was angry at first someone threw a little fit in response to his outburst, but when he saw the man leave he saw the man's face and saw that the man's outer robe came loose and revealed another robe. He saw it and was a little shocked to see it. It was from the Huo Sect.

Hou Miki's eyebrow raised a little upon releasing that, he saw that the man was wearing an outer robe outfit from his Huo Sect that he was apart of, but he didn't think it was completely out of the ordinary, he coughed a little then looked back jilie and grinned a little. Then he picked up his Kasa hat and put it back on, then he put his Jian sword back onto his waist and smiled.

Elder Siji Ning was still paying attention specifically to the two men harder now, that he almost forgot to eat his food that was served, he put on a little prayer act. He put his hands together and then he started to eat his food while trying to chew slow so that he could hear them talking, and not chewing over their voices.

"Remember Bai Jilie, will be watching you."

Hou Miki grabbed some silver coins out of his pouch on his waist and threw 4 silver coins at the waitress's lap and smiled as he left the restaurant.

"Thank you sir and come again!"

The lady bowed and smiled and waved go by to the Protector Hou.

The man Bai Jilie was now sitting with his head down and his hands over his face, as he was crying and tears were falling through them and landing on the table.

After another 10 mins, he wiped his face and covered his face with a nusubito ( Ninja ) mask as well as putting his kasa hat back on, and placed 4 copper and 2 silver coins on the table.

The lady was smiling from ear to ear after seeing this, she picked up the coins and bowls and plates then gave a slight bow and said her go bye to the man.

After watching Bai Jilie leave, he waited for another 10 mins. He almost got up from his seat but felt a new presence above him on the second floor, he quickly adjusted himself in his seat and just moved forward a little an bent down in his chair to feed himself another bite of his bowl of food and pulled off a piece of his cooked fish then took a quick shot of his sake.

After an hour of waiting, that presence finally left, but Siji had eaten another two bowls of rice another plate of cooked fish. Elder Siji Ning orders another bottle of sake as well as ordering a traveling jar of Great Blue Sky Huangjiu, placed 6 silver coins on the table put on his kasa hat, grabbed his sword, smiled, and bowed then left.

"Oh thank you, oh thank you, sir, have an amazing day please sir!"
