The B mafia (BL)

The story begins with an officer who strongly believes in justice, is sent on a secret mission to gather information about a mafia group and bring them in. He takes on the quest with no doubt in mind and he is drawn deeper into the world of violence, betrayal, and revenge with little knowledge about the after effect. Under the excuse of 'aiding the citizens', he ends up at a crossroad where he is forced to choose between his role as an officer and the feelings in his heart.

Failed escape

Lian stood watching and analysing the guards. He was a police officer and his coach, who was in charge of his training at the police camp had made sure he had made them top notch at reading and analysing the enemies.

"Three are not that strong," he said to himself and his eyes moved to the remaining two with bold haircuts," those two might be a problem."

He took in a deep breathe and slowly advanced towards the guard closest to his hiding place. He grabbed him by his neck and covered his mouth. He was not about to let the guard announce his presence to the others. After all, he was trying to escape from a mafia's gathering, one wrong move and he could end up dead or recaptured. The idea of getting caught all over was not very fascinating to him, he knew he shouldn't underestimate Ding, the guy was always a step ahead. He made quick work of the guard and dragged him behind some bushes hiding the unconscious body completely. He made complete work of the remaining two guards and stood watching the remaining two, who seemed to be well toned than Lian was. He clenched his fists and unclenched them as he watched the two stop side by side. The element of surprise is what would help him with the remaining guards. Waiting patiently, he watched and studied their movements. Once he was certain he would get a clear shot, he took a deep breathe.

"It's now or never," he said to himself and sprint out of his hiding spot and ran towards the two.

"Hey! Who-"

Before they could react, he tackled the first guy and threw a punch at the other.

"Sorry about this gentlemen," he said and made a run for it towards the exit before the guards could call for reinforcements.

The guard groaned and struggled to his feet before running after Lian.

"Hey! Stop!" he shouted after him.

Lian was not having it, there was simply no way would he risk getting caught again.

"Almost there," he said to himself once the gates came into view," I just need to make it out before-"

He stopped in his tracks a few inches from the gate. The guards pointed their guns at him and Lian raised his hands in surrender. The guards from before ran up behind him and he cussed silently.

"You… who are you?"

His eyes scanned the guards surrounding him and he let out a sigh. There was no way of escape, the guards had him surrounded with no way of escape and as if that was not enough, they had their guns pointed at him. Whether they were loaded or not he did not know and there was no way he would want to find out if he was right or wrong. He had to think of a way out of this mess.

"Uh.. I was just passing by and I got lost and accidentally walked in here," he said and the guards looked at him.

One of them, walked towards him and Lian could not shake the feeling that he was in charge here.

"Lost and walked in here?" he asked and Lian nodded his head," no one walks in here without an invitation."

"Right! I completely forgot that this was a mafia meeting. Of course no one would walk in without an invitation. Why did I think of such a stupid reason?" he thought to himself before lifting his gaze to the guy before him.

"We should take him to the boss," he said and Lian's eyes widened in shock.

"Your boss? Surely you wouldn't mean that right? Can't you just let me go?"

"No can do, what if you are a criminal?"

Lian looked at him in surprise before rolling his eyes.

"Yeah right, as if 'mafias' are not criminals," he mumbled inaudibly.

"Will you come with us quietly or do we have to be rough."

Lian let out a defeated sigh and accepted his unlucky fate.

"I'll come peacefully. No need for any violence."

The guard seemed satisfied with this and had the rest lower their guns. Lian watched this in silence before lowering his hands and dusting his coat.

"Which way gentlemen?" he asked excitedly and the guard looked at him with a raised brow.

"You sure are excited, let us not waste anymore time then. This way," he said pointing to his right and Lian nodded.

"Lead the way."

The guard nodded and walked ahead of him Lian following after him. After walking a few metres, Lian looked around and realised none of the guards were following them. Slowly, he slowed his pace and the guard completely unaware of this, kept walking ahead of him. Lian jumped into some bushes hiding himself.

"What an idiot," he said to himself," didn't even notice I stopped following him."

He waited for a few more minutes before preceding towards the gates. To his surprise, no guards were around. Not wanting to stick around any longer, he ran past the gates and stopped once he was at a safe distance. He looked around the unfamiliar environment and ran a frustrated hand across his face.

"What's the matter? Forget your way?"

Lian froze and turned around only to meet with the exact person he was running away from.

"How did you-"

"What? Are you that surprised to see me or are you wondering how I managed to find you?"

"But you…"

"Did you really think I'd just leave you unguarded given that you tried to escape once?"

Lian began to walk backwards before his back rested on something. He turned around and saw the guard from before.

"You? I thought…"

"You had given me the slip?"

"Are you that stupid?" Ding asked and Lian looked at him.

"What do you mean?"

"Didn't you find it weird that the guards did not cuff you? I mean, if they suspected you they would have cuffed you don't you think?"

"What do you-"

"And the fact that none of them were guarding the gates? Didn't you find any of it strange?"

"Now that you've said it, it was a bit too easy to sneak out. I can't believe I didn't suspect a single thing."

"Boss, what are you going to do with him?"

With how the guard asked this made Lian's neck hair stand on edge. He did not know for certain what Ding would do but he knew for a fact that it was not going to be good. Besides, ever since he was captured, nothing good came from the guy.

"So… where were you headed?" Ding asked completely surprising Lian.

"What?"

"Where were you headed?"

Lian found his behaviour suspicious and instead of getting himself into any trouble, he lowered his gaze.

"I just came out for a breather, the atmosphere in there was suffocating. Am not used to such big events," he said and Ding chuckled.
