Self Control

Lord Richard was glad that she had stopped crying, but she was not letting go of him. He stiffened when he felt her hands caressing his chest softly. What exactly was she doing? She rubbed his chest again with her soft hands making in a certain manner that made Lord Richard's heart to beat in anticipation. But this was His Majesty's wife, and he was not going to do something stupid. He pushed her slightly and stood up, nervous. Gods! That simple action from Victoria had aroused him already.

"I'm sorry about your husband's health but I'll be leaving," he said without looking at her. Queen Victoria was one beautiful woman who couldn't be simply ignored. Everywhere she went, heads would turn. It nearly took all of Lord Richard's self restraint to not jump and kick her legs apart that time.

"And don't forget to eat," he added, rubbing the back of his neck nervously. He hesitated for a while before he reminded himself that he was leaving.
