"Bagas. After from here, where are we going?" Ask Kiara.
"I'll take Mom to the boutique this afternoon, you don't mind if we go straight home?" Ask Bagas.
"No," replied Kiara.
"Now let's sit here for a while, it's very cool."
"Yes, the air is very cool here. Last night it rained heavily, maybe that's what makes the air here so cool, especially where there are many shady trees," Kiara replied while licking her ice cream.
Bagas sat casually looking ahead, watching the children playing. While Kiara was busy with the ice cream in her hand.
Kiara immediately cleaned her lips and hands with a tissue after finishing the ice cream.
"Kiara. One day when we are married, I want to have many children so that our house will not be lonely," said Bagas smiling at Kiara.
"I also want to have many children. Raise our children together. Live with you forever," replied Kiara smiling sweetly looking at Bagas's gentle face.
Hearing Kiara's answer like that, Bagas took Kiara's fingers and held them gently. Kiara also replied to Bagas's hand.
"Thank you, Kiara, I love you very much," said Bagas looking lovingly into Kiara's eyes.
Leo, who was sitting next to them, subconsciously clenched his fists when he saw Kiara and Bagas' hands intertwined. "Damn it! I even saw their romance. So this man is her lover?! It's so sweet she talks to her lover," Leo's heart spoke to itself.
Not long after, a cell phone rang.
"Bagas, your cell phone is ringing. Maybe there's an incoming call," said Kiara.
Bagas immediately took the cell phone from his jacket pocket.
Bagas :
"Hello, ma'am."
Mother :
"Where are you?"
Bagas :
"At the park with Kiara."
Mother :
"Hurry home. I'm going to the boutique."
Bagas :
"Yeah, I'll be right back."
The phone immediately hung up. Bagas put his cell phone back in his jacket pocket.
"Come on, let's go home. Mother is waiting for me at home," said Bagas. "I'll take you home."
"You just go home, let me go home alone. Pity your mother is waiting at home," replied Kiara. "I can walk home, my house is close to here."
"Are you okay going home alone?" asked Bagas.
"No, hurry home! Your mother is waiting!"
"Okay! I'm home. My greetings to your mother!" Say Bagas.
"Yes, I'll tell Mother later. You be careful with the motorbike."
Bagas with hasty steps immediately left Kiara to go to the place where his motorbike was parked.
Now, Kiara just sat alone with the person who had been covering her face with a hat. No one spoke until a few minutes later she heard the man sitting next to him start a conversation.
"You like children?" Leo asked breaking the silence.
Kiara turned to the side where Leo was sitting. "Yeah," she answered flatly and turned his gaze back to the front again.
"Me too," Leo said with a glance at the children who were playing.
Kiara didn't answer but looked back at the man sitting beside her who was wearing a hat deliberately covering part of his face.
"Was that man your boyfriend?" Leo asked but then he corrected it. "Sorry if it's impolite, don't answer."
Kiara didn't answer. The breeze blew against his face, toying with the bangs that perched sweetly on his forehead. Her curly eyelashes with brown eyeballs, her luscious white cheeks, and naturally red lips add to her beauty.
Leo who was sitting next to Kiara couldn't take his eyes off Kiara's face. "Beautiful is very beautiful," said Leo in his heart.
Feeling that she was being watched, Kiara suddenly turned to Leo. Suddenly Leo quickly looked straight ahead.
"Are you exercising?" Kiara asked seeing the clothes Leo was wearing.
"Yes," Leo replied.
Suddenly Kiara stood up. "It's noon, I want to go home."
Leo looked up to see Kiara who was about to leave. "You want to go home?"
Kiara answered with a sweet smile showing a row of neatly lined white teeth. "Yes, my mother is home alone."
Leo was only stunned for a few seconds to see Kiara's sweet smile. For some reason, his heart seemed to be pounding and his heart was beating fast.
"Do you still want to be here?" Kiara asked trying to see the face that was covered by the hat that covered part of him face.
"No, I want to go home too. It's almost noon," Leo replied nervously turning his face away so that Kiara wouldn't see clearly.
"Which way is your house?" Kiara asked smiling. "Maybe we're in the same direction."
Leo pointed in the direction of the path that led to his mansion. "That way."
"I'm also heading there. How about we go home together so we have friends to chat with? But that's also if you don't mind," said Kiara offering herself.
Of course, Leo was not happily playing, he seemed to have hit the jackpot. He quickly accepted Kiara's offer. "Good idea too." Leo stood up from his seat. "Come on! Let's continue our conversation as we walk," said Leo.
The two of them then went home, walking together while chatting. From time to time they both laughed until they didn't realize that their journey had arrived in front of Kiara's house.
"This is my house," Kiara pointed towards a simple house whose yard was full of various kinds of flowers.
Leo looked closely at Kiara's house. "This is your house? There are lots of flowers in the yard and it doesn't feel like we've arrived," said Leo.
Kiara just chuckled in response to Leo's words. "Would you like to drop by?" Kiara said then.
Leo was silent for a few seconds but then. "No, thank you."
"Oh I forgot, we've talked a lot earlier but haven't met. My name is Kiara." Kiara held out her hand to get acquainted.
"Leonardo, just calls him Leo," Leo replied, welcoming Kiara's outstretched hand. I don't know what happened to him, when his hand touched Kiara's hand, his heart was beating fast, something in his heart was pounding.
Kiara smiled sweetly at Leo who looked nervous.
"Okay, I have to continue my journey," Leo quickly let go of his hand and tried to calm himself from his nervousness.
"Yes," replied Kiara. "Be careful on the way."
After Leo left, Kiara then opened the gate and closed it again then entered the house.
His mother was seen watching television alone.
"Are you home yet?" Her mother asked seeing that Kiara had just entered.
"Yes, ma'am."
"What took you so long?" Mother asked. "You're not dropping by anywhere are you?"
"What do you mean? Instead of being greeted, there are many questions. My feet hurt, I was walking."
"Walking? Didn't you go home with Bagas on a motorbike?" Her mother asked in surprise.
"Yes, I went home with Bagas and stopped at the park to buy ice cream. There, Bagas's mother called asking Bagas to come home as soon as possible, so I walked home from the park here." Kiara explained while sitting straightening her sore leg on the sofa.
"So that's what made your feet hurt and now you're thirsty?" Mother asked.
"That's right. Kiara is thirsty, Mom," she whined spoiled with a sad face.
"You son of a bitch, just tell Mother to get me a drink!" His mother grumbled and went straight to the kitchen and came back with a glass of cold orange juice.
"Thank you, my dear mother. You are the most beautiful woman in this mortal world," said Kiara as she accepted the glass of juice from Mother's hand and immediately gulped it down.
"Where's the rest of the cake money?" asked her mother after sitting beside Kiara.
"It's in the bag."
The mother immediately took the bag lying on the table and opened it.
"I only received the amount that Mother's friend gave me." Kiara saw her mother and immediately counted the money taken from her bag.
"That's the amount," said Mother. "It was a long way from the park to here, why not take public transportation? You can use this money for the fare."
"Kiara didn't come home alone, she met someone in the park. Her house is in the same direction as mine, so we're going home together."
"Who?" Her mother asked.
"I've never seen him in our neighborhood, maybe he's a newcomer. He's exercising in the park."
"Woman?" Mother asked.
"Male ma'am. He wears a hat, his face is not visible. But he seems to be very mature," Kiara explained.
"You have to be careful when you meet other people, especially men, don't trust them easily," Mother reminded her.
"Don't worry, Mom, I'm a grown man. It's noon after all. If he does something bad, I can scream for help."
"Still you have to be careful!" His mother reminded him.
"Yes ma'am, I'll be careful," Kiara replied with a yawn. "I'm sleepy ma'am."
"Okay, you rest. I want to continue watching movies."
Kiara then went to the room with unsteady steps while Mother resumed watching her favorite movie.
