The Prowess of Espada Noveno

"Unfortunately unlike the last Arrancar who are Faccion of my Fellow Espada Grimmjow, I will not be so kind. All of you are quite powerful, I'll give you that but, It seems that I must show you the difference between the former Kaien Shiba and myself. *Bankai, Ryūjin, Umi no shihai-sha (Ryujin is the Japanese God of water, and the second line is Ruler of the Seas.)" The Skies darkened as clouds formed overhead causing a downpour on the level of a typhoon.

The rain obstructed the soul reapers' view but inwardly they were shocked. 'He can use the Soul Reaper powers to this extent? Lieutenant Shiba didn't even achieve Bankai!' Captain Hitsugaya was flustered as he looked at the Arrancar.

Aaroniero was now clad in a golden crown as he held a Trident in his right hand, instead of clothing made of cloth his robes were made out of water. Slamming the trident down the rivers and seas surrounding Karakura town surged into the air.

His spiritual Pressure rained down on all of the Soul reapers causing extreme apprehension. "Allow me to reintroduce myself since you think I am the Kaien Shiba of old. My name is Aaroniero Arruruerie, I am Espada Number 9."

The introduction caused the Soul Reapers a shock, Captain Hitsugaya was in a state of Disbelief. 'This is only the 9th Ranking Espada, and the one sitting over there in the background is Ranked number 6. These aren't even the upper echelon of the Espada yet this power rivals that of a Captain.'

Slamming the trident down, Aaroniero created a barrier that enclosed all the combatants. The wall of water stood tall as the Soul Reapers looked on at the display of power with unrest.

'Even without the last Arrancar fighting I could tell that they were powerful, but this is what stands at the pinnacle of the Arrancar?! He's the weakest one yet he is able to contain us with ease.' Captain Hitsugaya analyzed the situation as he drew his Zanpakuto. "*Bankai, Daiguren Hyōrinmaru!*"

"Hyorinmaru, the Dragon that rules over Ice and Water. I am rather impressed Captain, your strength is great in comparison to your age! However, do you think it will be enough? This Crown on my head isn't for show! I rule over water, isn't Ice just frozen water?" Aaroniero smiled as his Spiritual pressure soared. "*Devour, Glotonería*"

Unlike in the original, there wasn't an ugly mass of tentacles that replaced the lower half of Aaroniero as he released his Resurreccion. Instead, the waters of his Bankai turned purple, as a large unidentifiable creature could occasionally be seen swimming through the waters.

"You see, originally I wasn't powerful enough to be a member of the Espada." These words caused dread to spread through the hearts of the Soul Reapers as they looked at the display of power before them.

'This is the power of a reject?! This dense powerful spiritual pressure, it's absolutely disgusting to think this being wasn't qualified.' Similar thoughts as Captain Hitsugaya's ran through the minds of the others.

"You see I was appointed as the 9th Espada due to a vacancy appearing." Aaroniero stopped then looked at them with eyes that made them feel like prey.

"This means that even as an Espada my Position isn't stable, it's like I'm constantly walking on thin Ice. If I don't show my worth I will be discarded, my battle prowess cannot compare to the others so I must show why I am allowed to keep my position!" Aaroniero clenched his left hand into a fist as he looked at his opponents.

"Today I am being evaluated, I know it's me being evaluated because Luppi is ranked far Higher than I and is a powerhouse that stands above many. Therefore-" Aaroniero waved his trident causing this water to surge, turning into sharp spears that attacked the Soul Reapers from all directions.

"Today I will prove my worth." His spiritual pressure soared to heights that even Captain Hitsugaya felt threatening. While they were defending against the spears Aaroniero slammed the trident down once again creating spheres of water that entrapped the soul reapers.

"Now sink into the Abyss, this is the strength of an Espada!" Slamming his trident down again The creature with the waters emerged, it's purple tentacles and grotesque appearance caused Luppi to look away, opening its mouth the stench of the Deep permeated the area as the orbs which contain the soul reapers were placed into it one by one.

Yet before the Creature could close its mouth a Spiritual Pressure froze the waters solid. Swinging his Zanpakuto the ice shattered like glass raining down on the Battlefield as Captain Hitsugaya locked eyes with Aaroniero who showed a slight grin.

"If it were that easy this wouldn't be a test now would it be Captain?"

There was a lull in the battle as both sides stared at each other for a brief time, Captain Hitsugaya showed the power of a Captain of the 13 Court Guard Squads as he saved all of his subordinates.

*Clap* *Clap* *Clap*

In the background, Luppi started clapping as he looked on with interest "It seems there is some power in that little body of yours, If you were a few years older I would seduce you hahahaha."

Hitsugaya had no chance to respond to the comment, as a cero was fired at him from below, a screeching noise resounded as it tore through the sound barrier.

"Oh? You were able to dodge that? Impressive" Aaroniero praised as he looked at the Captain who lost one of his Ice wings in that attack yet it was regenerating at a visible pace due to the abundance of water in the area.

'Where did that come from?' Captain Hitsugaya clearly saw that Aaroniero never moved. 'That Cero came from below me but there was nothing there.'

"Confused?" Aaroniero smirked, then held up his trident pointing the three points at Hitsugaya, three small balls of Spirit Energy gathered, one Blue, one red, and one Purple. "Cero Tres Cifras."

The three spirit energy beams traveled towards the soul reapers with great speed, noticing them instead of blocking the Soul Reapers dodged. When the three Cero made contact with the barrier three turned into 9 and were sent back at the soul reapers, not noticing the beams reflect and multiply they were hit by the attack.

Like dead leaves the soul reapers fell out of the sky, their bodies crashing into the ground as the water in the area rushed towards them. "This place will soon be a mass grave." Aaroniero smiled as he raised his Spiritual Pressure to the Peak.
