"Okay we got out of their range," Sam said as we hid in a dinner.

I handed her some of the food I had in my backpack, and we ate quickly.

"so what is this place," I asked her.

"It's called the aether. zombies and other entities spawn or are made here. there are cola machines spread throughout this world. there is a juggernaut, speed cola, double tap, stamina up, who's who, and many others.

inside the aether, it doesn't matter where you die at because you always respawn. every single time. it doesn't matter when, or where but it's a never-ending loop," she said sighing while sitting against the wall.

I was listening to her words and pondering about if the zombies just came from the ground or out of thin air.

"how do we get weapons and other equipment," I asked her.

"you see that blue chalk outline on the wall next to speed cola," she said nudging her head to the left.

"yeah."

"go press your hand against it," she said.

I got up and did as she asked and an mp5 appeared in my hands, with ammo.

"cool right, now put your hand in the hole of the speed cola," she said.

a bottle appeared in my hands and I drank it, and in the corner of my vision, I saw a little green emblem.

"what you just drank was speed cola, which makes it so you reload faster. an orange one would be double tap, red is jug, blue is quick revive, and if you listen to the thunder then you can find wonder fizz," she explained.

"how long have you been in the aether," I asked her.

"I stopped counting after the third month," she said.

a window broke and an arm came through the window, followed by a loud screech.

"I sure hope you can fight, because we are about to be swarmed by a lot of zombies," she said as she got an mp5.

"ammo restocks itself so fire away, and when we get the chance run away," she said.

I broke a window and began shooting at the zombies that emerged from the ground.

some began sprinting and others were walking, however, they all came in the same direction, us.

while I was defending us, Samantha began preparing barricades.

I noticed that I get way more XP while killing zombies here than I did back home.

"I know your there Samantha," a raspy voice was heard.

"We need to go the gods have found us," Samantha said grabbing my hand and pulling me.

"gods...," I said clenching my teeth in anger.

"yes now hurry," she said pointing toward the distance.

a tall three-headed being was seen. I felt my vision going red and a zombie's head was in my hand I squeezed causing it to explode.

I pulled out my scythe and began killing all the zombies, or mutant creatures in my path and began sprinting towards the god.

"I'll kill you all," I said as my vision began flickering and I threw my scythe at the person.

"you pesky mort-" it said as it tried to swat my scythe, but to its surprise, it was launched back and then flattened.

it was pinned to the ground unable to move because of the enchantment on the scythe.

"Only I am able to use it" after all.

I walked towards the god with pure anger. I hate gods. if they want to control the undead to kill humanity then I'll use my hands to kill all of them.

the god desperately tried to remove the scythe but I walked up to its head.

I was too mad even to notice this and when I got up into their face.

"you gods love messing with humanity, so let your death be by humanity," I said jumping and punching its face.

a mini crater began forming and the god didn't die. better news for me, bad news for it.

every time it died, it automatically revived, so infinite XP.

I tried many ways to kill them. ripping their arms off, punching them repeatedly, shoving zombies down their throats, ripping their legs off, and many more.

it finally died when I used my scythe for ripping open its body. massive amounts of aether had exploded from its body and I absorbed it.

I closed my eyes and listened but didn't hear any zombies so I made my way to the dinner.
