INVASION

On a planet that looks like a hard, black ball, with the glowing flames of Fire-pits lighting its uneven surface called Apokolips, The Titan of Evil, Thanoseid(a very intimidating God with red eyes, grey skin, and gold armor) sits on his throne as one of his loyal followers, Ebony Maw approaches him.

"Sire, earths heroes have found a mother box. The one they call Captain Krypton is among them."

Thanoseid stays silent for a moment.

"And?" He finally says with an intimidating voice.

"These defenders have sprung up like antibodies to protect their planet. We are in danger of losing the element of surprise, my lord. I humbly ask that you move up your timetable." Ebony Maw says.

Thanoseid glares for a moment, before standing from his throne.

"Let the invasion begin." He says.

Meanwhile on the Helicarrier, Peter and Hal analyze one of the devices that Captain Krypton found.

"Any ideas on what that thing is?" The Captain asks.

Peter looks at the data that he's collected on the box.

"It doesn't scan like a bomb, more like an alien computer. Other than that, I have no idea." Peter says.

At that moment, Ms. Wonder pulls out a sword surprising everyone.

"I say we destroy it quickly, before the enemy can utilize it."

Hal slowly moves the sword out of the way with his finger.

"Easy, warrior princess. Let's just, put that on the back burner, for now."

Mercury then chimes in.

"I agree with Hal, it could be dangerous to damage it right now when we don't have any idea what it is." Pietro says.

At that moment, Nick Fury walks into the room.

"That's why, we need to know everything we can about these boxes. If these things activate, anything could happen?" Fury says.

"Whatever those things were, they went through a lot of trouble to plant these. Their definitely essential to what ever they're planning."

Peter soon gets a reading and makes a realization but as he does, the light in the middle of the box starts to flash.

"I didn't do it." Hal jokingly says.

"Stark, destroy it!" Peter demands.

"What?" Hal replies, confused.

"Whatever this thing is, it's sending out a signal somewhere that's not here, destroy it now!"

Diana quickly reacts, pulling out her sword and ready to swing it, but before she could strike it, the box goes off and a portal opens.

"I think we're too late." Hal says, putting on his suit.

As all the heroes try to prepare for what may come, more of those monsters come out of the portal, attacking everyone inside the helicarrier. Ms. Wonder starts slicing and blasting the monsters, while Captain Krypton uses his heat vision. Iron Lantern uses green constructs to protect the crew on the helicarrier, and Mercury uses his speed to take out more monsters.

"Lantern, cover Spider-Bat!" Captain Krypton says.

Hal goes to help, but when he looks back he sees Spider-Bat taking out one monster after another, webbing one and swinging it around, knocking many of them away.

"Uh- I think he's got it handled." Hal says.

Mercury then looks over.

"He can shoot actual webs? That's amazing." He says.

Black Raven then prepares to fight, preparing something.

"Everyone cover your ears!" Nick Fury yells.

Everyone does what he says as Black Raven let's out a sonic scream, sending half of the creatures flying through windows. At that moment, a creature knocks her through a window, sending her falling to the ground. Peter takes out the creature with an exploding batarang and dives after Raven. He quickly catches her and the two fall together. As soon as he sees buildings, Peter shoots out a web and swings them through a window and into a building, slamming through a table.

"You ok?" Peter asks as they lie on the ground.

"No, but it's better than being dead." Black Raven says.

Peter smirks as the two slowly get back to their feet.

Meanwhile, on the street, Iron Lantern, Captain Krypton, Ms. Wonder, and Mercury fight off more of the creatures. Peter jumps down while throwing three exploding Batarangs that takes out three monsters. As his feet hits the ground, more monsters charge at him but he quickly lands a spinning heel kick to one's jaw and a right hook to another's face. A third creature swings at him, but Spider-Bat catches its arm and flips him into the other two creatures.

Another creature comes up from behind him, but before Peter could take it out with a batarang, Dinah does it for him with her sonic scream. Peter then looks at her with a smirk.

"Now we're even." She says.

Hal then creates a forklift that rans into all the other creatures, taking them out.

"See? That wasn't so hard." Hal says.

Right as he says that, more portals around the city open, with more creatures coming out of them. Everyone then glares at Hal.

"Well. At least it can't get any worse."

"Dude, you seriously did not just say that." Mercury says.

"What? How can it possibly get worse?" Hal asks.

At that moment, a portal opens and out steps Ebony Maw, Thanoseids General Steppenwolf, Proxima Midnight, and Corvus Glaive appear infront of the heroes.

"You were saying?" Peter asks.

"Hear me, and rejoice. You are about to die at the hands of the children of Thanoseid. Be thankful that your meaningless lives are now contributed to-"

Hal cuts off Ebony Maw.

"I'm sorry, earth is closed today. You better pack it up, and get it out of here." Iron Lantern says.

"Kryptonian. Does this chattering animal speak for you?"

Captain Krypton steps up.

"No, I speak for myself. And right now your trespassing on this planet." He says.

"That means get lost, squidward."

Ebony Maw scoffs.

"How, exhausting. Kill them."

The Children of Thanoseid(except for Ebony Maw) make their way towards them.

"Ok, I have a lot of questions. But I'm guessing they'll have to wait until we fight these guys." Mercury says.
