FULL ON ASSAULT

At Parker Mansion, Jill is stil waiting for Peter to come back. She starts to walk through the house, looking at the old photos of Peter and his family. Jill then looks over and sees Peter's piano, soon sitting infront of it. She starts to press random keys, soon triggering the secret passageway that startles Jill.

"Holy crap."

She slowly walks through the passageway and finds herself in the Batcave, stunned by the sight of it.

"Oh my God...I was right." She says.

Meanwhile Ben is dusting the computer then looks over and sees Jill, surprised to see her.

"Ms. Stacy-um- hello." Ben says.

Jill waves.

"Well- It seems that you have discovered my little secret. Yes, I admit it. I am Spider-Bat." Ben says.

Jill smirks at Ben, unconvinced by his confession.

"It seems you aren't buying what I am selling. Would you like some tea, Ms. Stacy?" Ben asks.

Jill chuckles.

"Yes, that would be nice."

Meanwhile outside Penny Cobblepot's apartment building, Commissioner Stacy and Detective Bullock are standing guard when they see a group of suspicious figures walking towards them.

"Radio into Montoya. Tell her we have company." Stacy says.

Bullock tries to contact Montoya through the radio but only gets static.

"What the hell?" Bullock asks.

"Their jamming the signal somehow." Commissioner Stacy tells him.

At that moment the group starts to open fire on Bullock and Stacy. The two quickly takes cover, drawing their weapons and firing back. Meanwhile in the apartment, Peter hears the gunfire below them.

"It's starting." He tells them.

Montoya tries to radio Commissioner Stacy but also gets static.

"Damn. They must have a signal jammer nearby." She says.

Stacy and Bullock continue to stand their ground, shooting a few of the men down. At that moment, one of Penguins men throws a grenade that lands nearby Stacy and Bullock.

"Ah shit." Bullock says as the two quickly run off to avoid the explosion.

Peter, Montoya, and Penny hear the loud boom below them.

"Grenade." Both Peter and Montoya says.

"Grenade?" Penny asks.

Montoya quickly sits with Penny, holding her hand.

"Don't worry everything will be fine, ok?" Montoya says.

Penny breathes, trying to stay calm.

Peter then tries contact Stacy himself.

"But the signals jammed." Montoya says.

"Not my signal." Peter replies.

After a few minutes, he gets into contact with Stacy.

"Stacy, are you and Bullock alright?"

Stacy slowly sits up, coughing out smoke.

"We're still breathing- barely. But Bullocks out cold. Penguins on his way up, he'll be there in any minute and he he's not alone."

At that moment, Peter hears foot steps outside of the apartment.

"Their here." Peter says.

There's then a knock on the door.

"To the police officer and the bug inside. I'm here for my wife. She walks out, you walk away. Otherwise we're gonna come in and take her."

"No you're not. You won't risk her getting hit in the crossfire." Spider-Bat says.

Penguin scowls while smoking his cigar, knowing that he's right.

"No guns. We do this empty handed." Penguin orders.

The henchmen slowly drops their guns to the ground.

"Just go away, Ozzy!" Penny yells, with a tear in her eye.

"Not without you and my boy!"

"Then I'd say we're at a stalemate." Peter says.

Montoya walks over to Spider-Bat.

"Best case scenario, you bought us a couple time. But they're coming through that door soon enough and I'm not sure we can stop them." Montoya says.

Penny then winces in pain.

"You alright?" Peter asks.

Penny nods.

"A contraction. A really big one." She says.

Montoya rushes over to Penny's side. Both Montoya and Penny are stunned when they look down.

"Uh- we might have a problem."

"What?" Peter asks.

"My water just broke." Penny says.

Peter turns around in shock.

"Boss we need to go. At some point, the cops are gonna send backup when these guys don't report in." One of the men tells Penguin.

"I'm not leaving without my kid."

"Then you need to find a way fast."

Penguin thinks for a moment.

Penny lays across the couch.

"I need to go to the hospital, the baby is coming." Penny says.

"I know, but that's not possible right now." Montoya says.

Montoya quickly takes off her jacket and rolls her sleeves up.

"Wait, you're gonna deliver my baby?"

Montoya looks over at Peter as he nods at her.

"Yes. Yes, I guess I am." Montoya says.

Penny then screams out in pain.

"It's ok. Just breathe. I know that sounds cliche, but I promise it does work." Montoya says.

"Have you done this before?" Penny asks.

"Well- no. But I aced it at the academy. I know your birth plan didn't involved a cop, your couch, or a guy dressed as a- Spider- Bat. But I promise you that we will protect you and your baby. Ok?" Montoya says.

"Ok." Penny says as she continues to breathe.

At that moment, Penguin bursts through the door head first.

"Times up." Cobblepot says.

Spider-Bat steps forward, guarding Penny and Montoya.

"Montoya, keep going with the baby. I'll keep them away from you." Peter says.

Penguin smirks and rushes forward, getting kicked to the ground by Peter. The hero quickly sweeps another guy off his feet and throws him into two other men. Another man runs towards Montoya to grab her, but Peter webs his arm and pulls him into a right hook that knocks him out.

At that moment as Peter's Spider-Senses goes off, he quickly turns straight into Penguin ramming his head into his sternum, knocking him through a wall. Penguin smiles, slowly walking towards Penny.

"Come to papa." He says.

Before he could grab her, Peter comes up from behind and kicks him in the back of the leg. He then puts him in a choke hold, but Penguin backs him up a wall in the hallway. Peter quickly grabs him by his shoulders and slams his head through the wall. When he pulls him out of the wall, he lands a right hook to his face and a left uppercut, knocking him out.

After taking a minute to catch his breath, he starts hearing crying inside the apartment. He peaks from the doorway, seeing Penny holding her baby boy with a smile on his face.

Later at the hospital, Spider-Bat walks in and sees Montoya in the waiting room.

"How's Bullock and Stacy doing?" Peter asks.

"Their doing good, they'll be released later tonight. Penguin and his men are on their way to prison."

"What about Penny and the baby?"

Montoya smiles.

"She actually wants to see you."

Peter then follows Montoya into Penny's room.

"There he is." Penny says with a smile, holding her son.

Peter smiles.

"How are you feeling?" Peter asks.

Penny looks at her son and grins.

"I'm great right now. I just wanted to thank you. Because of you and Montoya, I get to hold my son right now."

Peter nods.

"It's what I do." Peter says.

"I also wanted to name my son after you. I know about the whole secret identity thing, but if you could tell me your first name. It would be an honor."

Peter thinks for a moment, then smiles.

"Richard. My name is Richard."

Penny smiles.

"Richard. That's a good name." Penny says.

Later that night Peter swings into the Batcave, taking off his mask with a smile on his face. He then looks over and sees Ben drinking tea with Jill.

"Ah- hello Master Peter."

Peter smirks.

"Hey Ben. Mind giving us the room?"

"Certainly sir. It was a pleasure as always Ms. Stacy."

"Same to you Ben."

As Ben leaves the cave, Peter sit next to Jill.

"So? No complicated and long explanation about why this place is under your house? Or why you're dressed as Spider-Bat?"

Peter chuckles.

"I'm too tired for complicated. You know now, and I'm good with it. I trust you."

Jill smiles.

"That means a lot. So I'm guessing this makes us partners."

Peter laughs.

"Something like that, I guess." Peter replies.
