BREAKOUT

One night In New York City, Spider-Bat web swings at top speed, with a sense of urgency.

"You don't have much time, sir." Ben says.

Peter barrel rolls and runs across a roof top as fast as he can.

"I know Ben, I'm going as fast as I can."

Peter flips off of the building and continues to web swing through the city.

"You're almost there Master Parker." Ben says.

Peter then slingshots himself into the air.

"Come on. Come on. Come on." Peter thinks to himself.

At that moment, Peter looks down and sees his destination.

"I'm here!" Peter says.

"Well done master Peter, now hurry inside."

Peter quickly sneaks through a window, and privately changes into a tux. He then runs as fast as he can, making it to a seat infront of a theater stage. The young hero breathes out of relief as the stage curtain slowly opens and he sees Andrea performing. A smile appears on his face as he watches every second of the play that she's in, thinking that she looks absolutely beautiful.

When the play is over, Peter waits outside of the theater holding roses. Andrea soon walks outside and sees him.

"Peter." She says with a big smile.

Peter sees her and the two share a hug.

"Was I good?" She asks.

"Good? You were great. You were-"

"You said great." Andrea says, cutting him off.

Peter then hands her the roses.

"These are for you." Peter says.

"Aw, thank you. I love roses."

"Yeah, Jill may have told me."

"Tell me again. Was I really good? I was so nervous, my knees were shaking." Andrea says.

"Your knees were fine."

"The applause wasn't very loud."

"Yes it was. It's the acoustics. It's all about the fusion, it keeps the sound wave from grouping. See when the sound waves propagate, it's like an-"

"You are such a nerd." Andrea says.

The two smile at each other, then Andrea grabs Peter's arm and the two start walking. Andrea then rests her head on Peter's arm.

"Thanks for coming tonight, Peter." She says.

Peter smiles.

"Of course." Peter says.

Meanwhile in Arkham Asylum, the warden does his routine check. Everyone steps out of their cells, except for The White Golden.

"Goblin? Goblin!?" The warden says.

The warden quickly runs into the cell, and sees the Goblin sitting in the dark in a straight jacket.

"Goblin, didn't you hear me?"

The Warden grabs The Goblin by the shirt, pulling him into the light, revealing an orderly, affected by the Goblins toxin.

"Shit! Sound the alarm, The Goblin has escaped!" He yells, running down the hall.

As the alarms goes off Norman Osborne stands from the distance, listening to the alarm.

"I love it when a plan comes together. HAHAHAHAHAHA!" He says.

As that's happening, Peter walks into his house to see Ben waiting for him.

"How was it sir?"

Peter smiles.

"It was- amazing. She was amazing."

He then sits down next to Ben with a big smile on his face.

"Well, I guess Spider-Bat can be happy afterall, Master Peter."

Peter chuckles.

"I'm starting to believe that myself."

Peter turns on the TV to see a breaking news report.

"This just in. It appears that the White Goblin, formerly known as Norman Osborne has escaped Arkham Asylum earlier tonight."

Peter sighs when he hears this, not being surprised by this. He then gets up and unties his tie and walk towards the cave.

"Sir, will you be alright?" Ben asks, worried about the young man.

Peter stops for a moment, taking off his glasses.

"I will be. Once Osborne is off the streets and back in Arkham." Peter replies with a determined look on his face.

Later that night, at Commissioner Stacy's house, George Stacy watches the news in anger.

"I hate this. Whenever we lock him up, I think "Please God, keep him in there." Then he escapes and we all sit around, hoping he don't do anything too awful this time. I hate it." Stacy says.

Jill sighs, changing the channel and hands her uncle a mug.

"Uncle George, could you please just relax when you're not at the office? I made cocoa." Jill says.

"I guess I can. For a minute at least."

At that moment, they both hear a knock at the door.

"That must be Bullock and Montoya. Wonder if they want Cocoa" Jill says.

As Commissioner Stacy chuckles, Jill opens the door but she doesn't see Montoya or Bullock. She sees The White Goblin, dressed like an old tourist with a gun in hand, and pumpkin heads behind him. When she sees his pale white face with a sickening smile, fear immediately appears on her face as the Goblin shoots her in the gut, sending her flying through the glass living room table.

Stacy quickly rushes to her side.

"Jill!" He yells.

Norman starts laughing.

"Please don't worry. It's a psychological complaint, common amongst librarians. You see, she thinks she's a coffee table edition. Oooh Cocoa."

The Goblin picks up the cup and takes a sip, while Commissioner Stacy is devastated.

"Mind you, I can't say much for the volumes condition. I mean there's a hole in the Jacket and the spine appears to be damaged."

The Commissioner then gets overwhelmed by rage as he charges at The Goblin.

"You scum! First my Daughter, now my niece!" He yells out of anger.

At that moment, one of the Pumpkin Heads punches George across the face.

"Frankly, she won't be walking off the shelves in that state of repair. In fact. The idea of her walking anywhere seems increasingly remote. But then that's always a problem with soft backs."

The Pumpkin Heads continue to beat on Commissioner Stacy.

"God, these literary discussions are so dry. When you've finished with the old boy, you know where to take him. And do be careful. Afterall, he is topping the bill."

The Goblin then kneels down to Jill, who is still on the ground in pain.

"You know it's such a shame you'll miss your father's debut, Jilly Bean. Sadly our venue wasn't built with the disabled in mind."

He then pulls out a small camera.

"But don't worry. I'll get some snapshots to remind him of you. Do me a favor and try not to bleed out too much." He says.

Tears start to fill Jill's eyes.

"Wuh... why... why are you... doing this?"

The Goblins smile gets even bigger.

"To prove a point. Say cheese."
