Chapter 80 Finding The Root (2)

(Hirre's POV.)

I looked immediately behind me where the sound coming from. And even if it would make me unguarded, I reluctantly looked back.

I saw Severus standing with two knights that were unfamiliar to me. What the hell is Severus doing here? I thought as I looked at him. And because of my shitty action, the Lycan below me gets a chance to push me hardly.

I blew like a feather as he used his force to push me away from him. And because I didn't ready for this, he easily executed his plan.

But before I slammed into the ground, Severus quickly moved to catch me. He grabbed me and we rolled on the dirty ground. We halted as we reached the upright root. Suddenly, I heard the snarling and snapping of the wolves behind us. I quickly moved away from Severus as I looked back.

The Lycan wanted to attack Severus and me but the two knights blocked his way. They fought and I saw how strong the Lycan and his ability in fighting was a little hindrance to the knights.
