"And why would I do that?" Unwilling to do as instructed, she asked, frowning at him. He wanted to eat the cake, so why should she taste it?
"You could have poisoned it," he said, prompting her to snort.
"Are you afraid of dying?" She folded her arms and asked, teasingly raising her eyebrows at him.
"Are you trying to avoid tasting it?" He inquired, raising the cake so her gaze was focused on it.
"I might end up eating this whole thing, are you sure you want me to?" She inquired, and he nodded, prompting her to retrieve the cake from him.
She took a seat on the chair in front of him, picked up the fork, and cut a piece before dropping it into her mouth.
"Hmm, Vanilla!" Savoring the taste, she hummed satisfiedly and cut another piece, about to cut a third when she remembered he had only asked her to taste it, not consume it.
