I pulled away from her then, feeling her body's warmth vanish immediately. Ethan was still waiting for me patiently, although I could sense his anxiety rolling off of him in heavy waves. I knew he wanted to take care of the rogue situation as soon as possible so he could get back to his mate. I actually wondered what he had told her to do the second he got the message from my father.

I made my way out of the aisle, glancing back in her direction and giving her a reassuring smile before disappearing out of the library within seconds. I knew that she would be okay. Alex may be a pain in the ass sometimes, but he was one that both Ethan and I could count on no matter what. Ethan had told me through our mind link that Sarah was going to be staying at Rocky's house just so she could protect her if need be. My wolf and I both prayed to the goddess that nothing will happen to either of them.
