Chapter 10

Her bathing suit now clung to her body as droplets of water rolled down her now somewhat tanned skin. She twisted her hair tightly, allowing the water to fall out of it. She made her way back onto the dock to grab her clothes before walking back to the cabin. I followed her behind the trees, not even paying attention to them as my main focus was on her. It was hard to take my eyes off her when she was like this. My wolf was fighting me now, and I was pretty sure my eyes were turning a darker shade and back to its original color rapidly. He kept snapping at me, urging me to shift back and run to my mate, but I easily ignored him. He knew just as much as I did that it would be dangerous for us to get close to her now. The best thing we could do was stay hidden at a safe distance that we could cope with easily.
