Seeing things getting out of control, Cecilia tried to take a chance and explain. But just as she was about to start speaking, Ezra cut her off.
"I can feel Holy Power from you," said Ezra coldly. “Are you trying to reason that as a Saintess, you wouldn't be able to use Sorcery? Is that your excuse?”
Ezra's words shocked everyone, even Cecilia herself.
“If you are indeed a Saintess, then the fact that you are defending the Sorcery will only make things worse. I beg for more severe punishment. A Saintess who defends Sorcery should be punished with the same punishment as a cannibal,” Ezra didn't stutter in the slightest.
"What do you know about Saintess, Miss Beryl?" Cecilia asked angrily.
“You ask what I know about Saintess?” Ezra didn't change her cold expression. “I don't know much about Saintess, except that we have faith that Gods do exist.”
