His hesitation didn't last long. After he checked if there were no people around us, he quickly walked up to me and grabbed my arm. He was frantic. He kept looking at the bodies and the blood that dripped below my mouth, and it was apparent what he was thinking.
I'm not really one to care, but for some reason, I did at the moment.
I feign a smile. "Are you surprised because I'm naked or because you know that I ate their bodies?"
Not minding my question, he took off his big grey shirt and went ahead with putting it onto my body as if he was helping a child. My eyebrow furrowed in confusion.
"Don't talk. We have to get out of here first." He says, his eyes filled with worry.
