Sophie convinced Delina that they should go to more events, so Delina would fit in more and could, in addition to meeting more people and increasing her influence among her subordinates, it would also serve to distract her from Edgar's absence.

That night, Delina, Sophie, Suindara and Petrus were going to one of those balls. It would be at the palace of Lady Kovács, widow of the Marquis de Kovács. She was still young and was very fond of parties.

"Lady Gallard will definitely come." Delina said, looking at the door and then at Suindara. "You should keep an eye out so you can receive it."

Suindara nodded in agreement.
