Looking into his eyes while they moved along on the dancefloor was making Delina feel as if she was floating. His almost lilac eyes were mesmerizing and, although very light in color, she could see they were as deep as the ocean. The feeling of excitement when you go further away in the water and it becomes quite cold under you. At the same time it is scary, it is exhilarating.

Edgar never thought of marrying, to be truthful. He accepted to meet the Queen just because he wanted the Council and his parents to stop nagging at him for just fighting, working and taking care of all his duties but producing an heir. 

He believed the Queen, someone who was raised by priestesses, would be as boring as hell, full of religious concepts and deadly arrogant, but no. She was not only beautiful as those magical creatures he used to read in books about, but also smart and witty.
