"Before I tell you, I want to ask you first," Roran asked the man in front of him, and he immediately looked at Roran with a very serious look.
Nicholas just nodded his head, confirming what the man had just said.
"Why are you so relaxed when you find out that you are a werewolf!" Roran asked with narrowed eyes as if intimidating Nicholas who was in front of him.
Nicholas who heard the words spoken by the man in front of him immediately widened his eyes and took a few steps back.
His right hand immediately held to his chin, and his eyes were now looking downwards, indicating that he was thinking right now.
Before long he lifted his face again, looked in the direction where Roran was and said,
"I don't know either, I'm trying to calm myself down than before, even though I know a part of me is rebelling too, wanting to scream, scared, and all that stuff, but I'm not doing that. Because the other part of me, like asked me to stay calm and act normal." Nicholas answered what Roran had asked.
But the answer from the man confused Roran even more, for he got an answer he didn't expect.
Or I'm just trying to scare him with my changes!. Roran thought as he looked intently at where Nicholas was.
And before long, Roran decided to transform himself into his beast form.
"RAAWWWRRRR"
That growl appeared just as Roran had transformed himself into a werewolf. And spontaneously it made Nicholas surprised because he saw the change in the man in front of him, from his normal human form to his beast form.
I think I managed to scare him off. Roran thought as he smiled inwardly.
But not long after he changed himself in front of Nicholas, the man gave him an even expression.
"Why did you change your form? Wouldn't your words be more difficult if you explained with your beast form?" Nicholas asked in such a relaxed tone, and he was not at all afraid of the man in front of him.
'Deg'
Insolent, why did this kid even fall like insulting me anyway, bitch. Roran thought and immediately changed his form back to a normal human.
"I was only testing you," said Roran, acting arrogantly in front of Nicholas. But, in his heart, he was screaming because of his pride as a werewolf that took a long time to get the title, it felt like he was trampled on by a man who had just received the title as a new werewolf.
"Oh, fine," Nicholas said, nodding his head trying to understand what Roran meant.
Roran decided to sit on the sofa, and Nicholas did the same, looking at the man with a serious gaze, and waiting for the words to come out of his mouth.
"I think we have different leaders," said Roran, looking ahead blankly. "The Alpha is the leader of the werewolf, and he has the highest level of us. And only he can create a new werewolf, with just one bite of him. A bite is a boon, for those of us who are now werewolves."
Roran explained to Nicholas, recalling himself when he was a new werewolf for the first time.
"And The Alpha usually only bites one person to make the Beta," said Roran as he looked in the direction where Nicholas was.
"And we have a different Alpha," Roran added.
Nicholas who heard Roran's explanation just kept quiet trying to understand what the man was saying.
Countless questions were running through Nicholas' head, but now he didn't want to ask Roran, maybe only a few he wanted to ask the man.
"What's The Alpha like?" Nicholas asked curiously,
"Hmmm, how should I put it. The point is he has more power than us, and he's unrivaled at all..."
"That's not what I meant, but what kind of manifestation is it?" Nicholas interrupted Roran who was explaining to him.
Roran immediately looked in the direction where Nicholas was, with a sharp gaze he drew closer to him,
"Ggrrrrr"
He growled his voice at Nicholas, "He has a different form from us, he has a bigger shape and almost all of his body is hairy, you can say he looks a lot like a wolf, but he can stand tall. And one more thing, he has a different eye color than us."
Nicholas immediately looked at Roran with a serious look,
"He has a bright red tint to his eyeballs, and just looking at it would make you pass out..." He said as he leaned closer to Nicholas.
"He's such a scary monster!" Roran whispered to Nicholas, then sat back down where he was before.
And it managed to keep Nicholas from breathing for a while, as Roran explained and whispered in his ear.
"Huh, I think I've met him..." Nicholas said as he panted trying to catch his breath.
Roran widened his eyes when he heard those words leave Nicholas' mouth.
"What did you say? Have you met him?" Roran asked in surprise, drawing himself closer to Nicholas.
Nicholas just nodded his head slowly, "He saw me a few times, but he only saw me from a distance!" said Nicholas.
Roran then leaned back and leaned his back on the sofa, "Good thing you didn't get killed by him."
"Huh, why is that?"
"Hmmm, you could say The Alpha often does that ritual. He bites someone to be his Beta, and then after he succeeds he will kill him, to increase his strength. That's why I always run away from The Alpha who bit me because I'm just afraid that the story is true." Roran said with a shudder as he tried to picture it.
Nicholas was silent, and his eyes shifted to the clock on the wall in the living room.
"Hah, it's 4:35 am. I'm sorry I'll be late, I have to go home!" Nicholas said frantically, then rose to his feet and looked in the direction Roran was.
"Huh, where are you going?"
"School!" Comrade Nicholas was brief.
"I think School, is no longer where you are now because it will endanger you!" Roran said with a smile to Nicholas, "Come along with me, and be my Pack, I will teach you to use your powers as well, and surely you won't regret it..."
