Sarah looked away from him. She didn't want to tell him that she had behaved the way she did because she had been angry about what she saw. Telling him about that little secret would make him realize that she was jealous and he would know that she cared about him more than she let out.

But she also thought that he deserved to know. She should let him know that she knew about what had happened between him and the redhead that night. That way, he would know that she was aware of his unfaithfulness despite his claim that he was going to marry her and no more else. Now that she thought about it, she wondered why he had gone to such a length to carry out such a charade before his people.

"Sarah?" Adam called her name to remind her of the question he had asked her earlier. His wolf was beginning to react to their intimate proximity and Adam didn't want to get up to avoid adding more petrol to her already burning anger.
