The Alpha’s Selkie

“Hey, you dropped this” Tyrion picks up the coat lying on the cafeteria ground to pass it to the woman standing infront of him. Red spreads from her neck to cheeks as she blushes and looks at him wide eyes. Sophie turned around to see a crying Helena accompanied by Beta Aiden, the pack's strategic, Luna Daisy and the worst of it, Tyrion.

Tyrion looked like he has been stabbed multiple times in his heart and it broke Sophie's heart.

"Princess? Tell me she's wrong" Tyrion stepped forward and his voice sounded like he wanted to cry. Tyrion knew what he saw, he just wished he didn't.

Sophie's head hung low in shame, she couldn't lie to him again. Not this time especially after he has seen everything, she can't gaslight him.

"Princess" Tyrion's voice loudened and he almost shouted.

"She can't say anything Tyrion, she was fooling all of us, she's not a selkie and I bet her name is not Jada aswell." Helena said with a tone of authority, as if she was sentencing Sophie a life in prison.

"Princess. What is your real name?" Tyrion spoke with anger.

"I'm Sophie" Sophie spoke in a low voice and Tyrion's breath hitched, so it was true, she really was fooling him.

"How could you do this to me?" Tyrion shouted with aggression.

"I didn't really have a choice" Sophie spoke with her head still low.

"Alpha, she might be the one causing deaths in the mansion, you just saw how powerful she is" Beta Aiden spoke all of a sudden.

"Shut up Aiden, she won't do something like that" Tyrion hissed at Aiden, even when his own heart was broken, he trusted Sophie.

"But do you even know her Tyrion?" Helena spoke from behind him. Sophie could've sworn she saw an evil glint in Helena's eyes.

Tyrion silenced on hearing this "maybe you're right" he said with a defeated voice looking at Sophie. His eyes accused her that she is the one that has caused him pain.

"And Alpha, see how she killed all of the fishes in that pond. She's strong you just saw that" Aiden spoke again.

"Yes Tyrion, I'm sure she's the one who killed everyone" Helena spoke.

"I didn't kill anyone" Sophie finally spoke, all the faces turned to her. "I didn't"

"And we believe you because?" Questioned Aiden. It looked like all the respect she was getting has suddenly stopped.

Footsteps echoed in the distance and Steven soon came from behind her.

"Are you okay Soph? I'm sorry I'm late" Steven hugged her. "I'm here now don't worry"

Steven's hands stayed on Sophie's back even after they pulled away. Tyrion's eyes glared at him.

"What are you?" Tyrion hissed at Steven.

"I-" Steven was about to speak but Sophie interrupted him and shook her head, it was time to tell them the truth "I'm a selkie" Steven completed his sentence.

His eyes scanned the crowd and landed on Helena.

"All of this was planned by them Alpha, we were being fooled" Aiden spoke with anger.

"Except our identity, nothing else was a lie" Sophie's eyes went to Tyrion and looked at him pleasingly "nothing was a lie Tyrion, all of this was true" she said, she desperately wanted him to believe her.

"I don't think I trust you anymore, Sophie" he said her name like it burned his tongue and Sophie's heart broke. "You proved to me again why selkies can't be trusted, all of you are the same" he hissed with his hands running through his hair in frustration.

"Watch your tongue Tyrion" Steven spoke from behind Sophie. This disrespect for Sophie was hurting him aswell.

"It's alpha Tyrion for you" Tyrion spoke with venom. The two men started glaring at each other.

"Very well, Alpha. We're done. Come on Soph we're leaving" Steven's hand went to Sophie's back.

"Yeah Sophie, I guess that's what you've wanted after all" Tyrion spoke in a low voice "guess it was all just a lie" he said as his eyes started watering.

"Alpha, we can't let them leave. They can be a danger to our pack" Aiden spoke from next to him.

"And what're you gonna do? Chain us in your dungeons? Is this what you came here for Sophie?" Steven's voice questioned Sophie.

But Sophie was having a conversation with Tyrion with her eyes. Both of them looked at each other with teary eyes.

"Alpha, just command us and I'll take them down" Aiden spoke impatiently.

"Try that" Steven came and stood in front of Sophie like a shield, his eyes have started glowing with a golden colour.

"Let them leave" Tyrion finally said with his authority.

"But Tyrion" Helena tried saying but was stopped by Tyrion's raised hand. "Tyrion you need to listen to me please" she cried and ran to stand infront of him.

Her eyes were filled with tears but she was stopped by the guards.

"Tyrion please. I can tell you everything. Just don't. Don't do this to me" she cried and begged. Never has she every begged a man but she was willing. Willing to do everything if it takes for him to forgive her.

"I said let them leave. Both of you need to leave our pack" he said looking at Sophie with a new emotion, hatred.

"But Ty" Sophie tried taking to him but he glared at her so hard her words stopped in her throat.

"Leave Sophie. Leave right now and never come back. You've done enough damage already"

"But nothing between us was fake, all of it was true"

"I don't believe you Sophie. Leave me. And never come back" and with that, Tyrion turned around and left.

Helena followed him right behind and the pack's strategic left with them. Beta Aiden however was waiting for them to leave. Beta Aiden took both of them to his car and drove off to leave the pack territory.

All this while, one thing echoed in Sophie's mind, she had lost him. The siren was still with Tyrion because of her.

If Sophie leaves, the siren will leave him alone, all of this was a revenge against Sophie after all. Now that she already broke Tyrion's heart, she would leave him alone.

At least leaving him will keep him safe. With that in mind, Sophie held Steven's hand and left with him, all of this was over, Tyrion was not her's and he will soon marry Helena.

Tyrion will hate her for the rest of his life and she will love him for the rest of hers.
