The Alien Within

The Alien Within Grinwall is no ordinary country, and Riverdale Academy is no ordinary school. Both are covert battlegrounds where powerful beings, hidden identities, and secret alliances shape the destiny of those who inhabit them. Among these is Tessa Caldwell, a Kaelrian alien with unmatched speed and a mysterious, water-like fragrance. Adopted by her teacher, Ms. Caldwell, Tessa tries to blend in, but her distinct blue eyes betray her origins to those who know where to look. Her life changes when Adrian, a fellow Kaelrian with a fiery aura and god-like confidence, arrives at Riverdale. Their connection is undeniable, but it attracts dangerous attention. When Adrian’s alien nature is revealed during a dramatic hospital incident, chaos erupts. Government agents are dispatched, and Principal Hammond is forced to defend Riverdale’s reputation, as students react with fear, admiration, and jealousy. Bridget Mills, Tessa’s rival, mocks her defeat by claiming she lost to an "alien," while others, like Oxlade and Karl, recount how Adrian saved them. Yet the growing tension at Riverdale is only a glimpse of greater dangers. The SSG organization, a sinister force with eyes on Tessa and Adrian, is joined by an even darker figure: Ikehara, the shadow of the sun god, and a loyal follower of Rhemon, a devil with a grudge against Solaris the true sun god, whose plans threaten the survival of the Kaelrians loyal to Solaris and Lunara (moon goddess). In the midst of a high-stakes escape from SSG, Tessa and Adrian encounter the mysterious Rhemonic people. The Rhemonics, regarding Tessa as the successor to their moon goddess, worship her, forging a powerful alliance. This new found bond brings new challenges, including a dangerous quest to gather ingredients to awaken the Rhemonic people from their limited lands and blocked memories, a curse wrought by Rhemon—a devilish force once thought to be their salvation. As Rhemon rises, threatening to control both Kaelrians and Rhemonics alike, Tessa and Adrian’s mission becomes a race against time. Along the way, Tessa uncovers her heritage as the daughter of Lunara, the moon goddess, and Solaris, the sun god. Adrian, the son of Solaris and a maid, shares a complex, divine bond with Tessa, yet both are haunted by the legacies they inherit. Amidst this conflict, Ashley Duve, a woman who shares the bed and secrets with Rhemon, fools Tessa into believing she was the moon goddess, and she entered her conscious thought, gradually eroding it away while she appears helpful and wise and seemingly innocent, Ashley’s actions soon reveal her true agenda. She uses her powers to impersonate the moon goddess, taking over Tessa’s body, manipulating events to help Ikehara gather the ingredients needed to awaken Rhemon. As Ashley’s allegiance becomes clear, Tessa and Adrian realize they cannot trust anyone, not even those closest to them. Against overwhelming threats, Tessa and Adrian must fight not only to protect each other but also to save their world. Grappling with questions of identity, loyalty, and love, their journey unfolds across various chapters of betrayal, alliances, and epic confrontations with cosmic powers. Only by unlocking the potential within themselves can Tessa and Adrian hope to survive this battle, protecting the very essence of their people and the world.

Chapter 88: The Moon Goddess's Intervention!

Chapter 88: The moon goddess's intervention!

Tessa's steps were like thunderclaps, each one resonating with the fury of a goddess scorned. Her eyes flared with the glow of a Kaelrian god-level power, radiating anger that seemed to shake the very air.

The memory of Adrian, beaten and broken, burned in her mind like a wildfire. Her fury grew with every second, feeding off that image like a starving beast.

Everyone stood still, holding their breath as Tessa marched toward the Lycoptera. The skeletal colossus, which had once oozed arrogance, now seemed to shrink in fear. It could sense it had crossed a line, a line that no one should dare cross—Tessa's wrath. She seemed like an harbinger of doom... right about now.

The Lycoptera, trembling in its bony frame, attempted to negotiate. "C-can we talk about this…?" Its voice, once a deep growl, had now turned into a squeaky plea, almost laughable in the moment.

Tessa's face didn't flinch. Her eyes blazed with an energy that promised destruction. She raised her hand, a cold, chilling power emanating from her fingertips.

Seeing his ally, the Lycoptera, on the brink of destruction, Ikehara darted from his position at the front. Desperation drove him forward; if he didn't intervene, not only would his plans unravel further, but he would also lose a long-standing friend. Mediation was his only option, but he had to act quickly, or everything—including the fragile alliance—would be lost.

"Maybe we should all rela—" Ikehara began to speak, raising a hand in some attempt to mediate. But before the words fully left his lips, Tessa casually flicked her fingers. The faintest pulse of energy zipped through the air and—BOOM—Ikehara was blasted off his feet and sent flying into the distance like a ragdoll. He disappeared into the horizon with a faint ping as though he'd just been deleted from the scene.

"I-I'm serious, we can talk this out!" The Lycoptera pleaded one last time, fear dripping from its voice. But there would be no negotiations today.

Tessa didn't speak a word. She simply raised her palm, and an explosion of pure, raw power erupted from it. The skeletal colossus didn't even have time to scream before it melted into a bubbling pool of green sludge, sizzling and hissing into oblivion.

"So… Kaelrians look like this when melted, huh," Ecdy whispered in awe, leaning in close to Nyala, who stood beside him. He squinted at the green goo, almost like he was examining the remains of some science experiment gone wrong.

Nyala shot Ecdy a stern look, but the absurdity of the whole situation finally caught up with her. Her face twisted, trying to hold back a laugh. But a muffled giggle escaped her, followed by another until she broke out into uncontrollable laughter.

Ecdy, oblivious to what he'd done, scratched his head, watching as Nyala shook with laughter. "What's so funny? I'm serious—are all Kaelrians this… gooey?"

Before long, the entire group, still high from their victory, burst into laughter. Even Tessa, now calm, cracked the smallest of smiles as she wiped her hands of the situation—literally.

Meanwhile, away from the group, Nymff sat on the ground with Adrian's head resting on her lap. Her hand gently stroked his hair, soothing him as he lay there recovering. Adrian, for his part, was doing his best to remain still and look as calm as possible. But her touch, her warmth… it was making things, well, difficult.

Adrian's eyes flicked up to see Nymff's curves right above him, her closeness stoking a fire in him that had nothing to do with the battle. His heart raced, not from the thrill of combat, but from the… other sensations that were building up. He swallowed hard, trying to focus on anything but the growing discomfort in his pants.

The struggle was real.

As Nymff continued stroking his head innocently, Adrian's mind raced. Not now, not here… please… He shifted uncomfortably, trying to hide the… situation below the belt. But the more he shifted, the worse it seemed to get. Sweat beaded on his forehead, and his jaw tightened in a desperate attempt to control himself.

Nymff, completely unaware of the war going on inside Adrian, hummed softly to herself, her hand brushing against his forehead. "You're safe now, you stubborn boy. You're lucky to have survived that…"

"Y-yeah…" Adrian muttered weakly, still trying to control his body. But then, disaster struck.

Ecdy, ever the oblivious one, wandered over and leaned down, his eyes narrowing in on Adrian. "Hey, uh… Adrian, do you, uh… have something in your pocket?" Ecdy pointed toward the very obvious bulge in Adrian's pants.

Adrian's eyes flew open, panic spreading across his face. Without missing a beat, he shot up from Nymff's lap, nearly toppling her over in the process. "I, uh… I gotta… relieve myself! Be right back!" He muttered quickly, half-running, half-stumbling toward a nearby tree, adjusting his pants as he went.

Nymff blinked in confusion, watching him rush off. "Did I… say something?"

Ecdy shrugged. "I don't know, but I think he was hiding something."

Nyala, still laughing, shook her head, "Oh, he was hiding something, alright…"

The rest of the group erupted into laughter again, including Tessa, who had now joined them, her expression much lighter than it had been moments ago. Despite the absurdity of the moment, they all shared the relief of their victory. The Lycoptera was gone, melted into nothing, and the bridge ahead was clear.

As Adrian emerged from behind the tree, his face still flushed, everyone was still basking in the triumph of the moment. He joined them, trying to play it off as if nothing had happened, though he avoided Nymff's gaze.

"Alright," Tessa said, her voice back to its calm, commanding tone. "Let's cross the bridge. It's time to move on."

The group nodded, smiles still plastered on their faces. Adrian, however, couldn't help but shoot a quick glance at Nymff, who was now chuckling softly with Ecdy and Nyala. She has no idea what she does to me, he thought, shaking his head.

With the Lycoptera reduced to a puddle of goo and the road ahead clear, they set off once again—together.
