A New Ring For Study.

In a matter of hours, Justinian had cloned an extremely powerful Primarch and it only contained around 25% of his DNA. The child also would not have any of his special abillities coming from Ddraig or Albion or his Perpetual Nature.

However, the child would at least contain some of his more powerful bloodline abillities just not all of them, Demonic Powers, and some of the genetics of his wives. As the small child gestated he walked off from his wives to go work on the other samples he collected.

He brought out the blood he got from John a human Kryptonian Hybrid, Crush a human Zarnian Hybrid, Starfire a Tamaranian, and Beast Boy a Metahuman. They were only a few drops, and he could already see the use in these samples.

Both by enhancing himself, cloning new troops, or making his monsters even more special. Suddenly while he was looking at the floating vials containing the samples, he felt a hand grab his shoulder.

He turned around and saw Remnosh looking at the blood in his hand.

"So what do you plan to do with that?"

"Many things that I can think of. A power-ups for us, new clones, or new experimental monsters. Better yet, I already see use in this Zarnian blood. I can make my monsters even harder to kill. Ah, cloning, what a fun hobby."

Remnosh looked around the gigantic facility that contained world-ending monsters gestating. There were so many beasts that she wondered if Justinian would ever really stop. With how hard he had made himself to kill, he would live indefinitely and he would continue his cloning.

Then again, when life was as infinite in scale as theirs was, it was worth having a hobby. In Dragon Deus, Azazel liked Sacred Gears, and Justinian liked cloning monsters. Regardless, he had plenty of time to play with these genes while the Primarch he cloned gestated.

It would take several days as her genes worked themselves out, so he instantly got to work on his samples. One thing he would do was add the Zarnian regenerative abillities and the Tamaranian ability to absorb energy from Stars.

As for the blood of Beastboy and John, he had to find other uses for them.

While Justinian continued his experimentation, almost 550 Light Years away from The Solar System the fleet of the Space Wolves, the 6th Legion was approaching another habited Space System. The Space Wolves, and Space Marines much like the other Legions were made up of White, Red, and Green Martians of the Warrior Cast.

They then underwent genetic engineering to have a more potent DNA coming from one of Justinian Lab Grown Wolf Monsters. He cloned it from a wide selection of canine DNA and enhanced it with extreme editing to increase its ferocity.

As the Legion and their 350 Vessels flew toward the next civilized world, someone got in their way. Flying directly in the void was a Green Lanter which approached their vessel.

The leading Flagship, the Eye Of The All-Father, and its AI, Odin scanned the human-looking Lantern before projecting a display to the Legion Master, Bjorn. The Viking-looking Martian grinned exposing his enlarged fangs.

<Legion Master, what are your orders?>

Bjorn had an idea.

"Let's collect this Lantern's corpse and his fancy ring for the Emperor. I am sure that will be a worthy gift."

The Lantern stopped in front of the Fleet before he projected his voice through the void.

"Approaching fleet, you are now approaching a Sector protected by the Green Lantern Core. You may remain if your intentions are peaceful, but if not, you will be asked to leave."

Rather than retreat, near Bjorn the Chief Shaper, another one of Justinian's blessed few, Njal slammed his force staff on the deck of the ship. In moments a vast Bounded Field trapped the Lantern with the entire Space Wolves Fleet.

When the Lantern was trapped, he didn't panic as his Ring was fully charged. He would show these invaders why making an enemy of the Lantern Core was not a good idea. Sadly for him, the Eye Of The All Father opened its 'eye' which was a special weapon developed for them.

The front of the ship parted open revealing the specialized canon which locked on the Latern.

<Legion Master, shall I fire?>

"Guns away."

The Eye Of Odin was charged in moments as long charge periods were seen as worthless to Justinian. In moments a black mist began to emerge from the canon which the Lantern took notice of.

With a flex of his Will, he created a large mech of Green Will Power around himself. To the amusement of the vast fleet of the Space Wolf, when Odin fired his main cannon, a blast beam of black mist struck the Lantern and his construct almost instantly.

After five seconds of continuous discharge, Odin powered down the canon. The mist seemed to stick around for a while, but when it finally dispersed The Lantern and his Mech were encased in transparent Black Ice.

<Target deseased. Collecting specimen.>

The eye of Odin was a very specialized and powerful freeze ray. It was developed by Victor in return for the return and healing of his wife Nora. Of course, she now had a secret Mind Shackle Sabarab ready to keep Freeze Loyal.

Bjorn seeing their gift collected, made him very pleased.

"Someone, prepare a vessel, let us take this to The Emperor. He will want to see this. As for the rest of the fleet, prepare for compliance of next world."

The Bounded Field set up by Njal fell apart so once the dead Lantern was brought on board, he was loaded up on a personal carrier which was Warp Drived back to Mars. The fleet then went on to bring another Xenos race to the brink of destruction before collecting samples for replacement cloning.

While Justinian was about to receive one of his best gifts the chance to study one of the Green Lanter Power Rings, on Earth a secret meeting was undergoing. It was inside of the Batcave which wasn't so secret since it was nearly impossible to hide from Erda who could see all in the Solar System and beyond much like her Master.

In the Batcave, Batman who was now 46 years old with more greys, more lines in his face, and a more weathered look. An issue the Justice League was facing was that more and more nations were looking forward to joining The Imperium.

They all believed if they were the first to wave the flag of surrender, they could keep some of their influence while their country would enter the interstellar age. That also meant that the many nations that had been taken completely over by the Imperium had placed political pressure on the League.

The current President, a much younger man than the president Justinian had met, and far more pro-compliance. He wasn't very popular among the older generation for his stance. Then again, he was popular with The Imperium and he had even received a few gifts in the form of advanced genetic engineering.

Batman had figured out that while Justinian wasn't invading Earth through force, he was fighting a war through politics. Even the League was divided as many believed there was nothing wrong with allowing Earth to join The Imperium.

While The Imperium was an absolute Monarchy, the common people who now lived from Mercury to Pluto all had rights. A few were taken straight out of the Bill of Rights only that punishments were far more extreme for some types of crime.

However, The Imperium outlawed all worship of gods except The God Emperor. Citizens could bear weapons, but what they had access to could not compare to what those in charge could use.

Batman had used every means to learn some information, most of which was allowed for him to learn. As such, he called this meeting with the Leaguers who believed that Justinian should not rule Earth. Batman, Superman, Barry, Hal, J'onn, Black Canary, Green Arrow, Hawk Man, Hawk Girl, and Zatana.

Batman sighed as this stress of thinking of the constant pressure that was Justinan made him feel ten years older.

"Another year nearing the deadline Justinian set for Earth. We have four more to find a way to stop him."

Even Superman was feeling a bit down as many members of the League had felt fighting Justinian wasn't worth it. A few honestly stopped caring if he took over as from what they had seen it would bring a lot of good to Earth.

Then Diana who was still in the League, but was far more friendly to Justinian than anyone in the League. Superman still couldn't get over the fact that there were millions of Kryptonians in the Imperium.

J'onn in particular was almost depressed that his people the Green Martians had been cloned back to existence. Genetically, they were back, but they couldn't be called Green Martians because of how much they had been changed by whatever process brought them back.

They were not peaceful, they were closer to a blend of White and Green Martians and made to be warriors. It was a desecration of his peaceful people and now they numbered in the hundreds of millions across the Imperium.

From Mercury to Pluto, but seeing the down state, Superman spoke up.

"In terms of power, most of us our outscalled. Justinian is a psychic of unmatched power, his magic is beyond powerful, and his ability to empower himself endlessly makes him a truly dangerous foe. Even now we are being observed no doubt?"

As he said that, Ddraig appeared in the Batcave with his daughter Eldora in his arms.

"You are."

While normally the Leaguers would have all jumped and prepared for battle, Ddraig had been doing this for the past five years. He would jump into League meetings, make everyone uncomfortable, and then leave.

"What? Dragon eat your tongue? I know I haven't."

He waved his hand and he sat himself down among the Leagues.

"Come on, don't leave me hanging. I was nice enough to drop by and answer your rhetorical question."

Zatana who always got the willies around Ddraig tried to secretly scoot her chair away from him. Eldora who was in his arms, turned to her before leaning closer with a smile.

"Daddy, the Magic girl is scared."

Ddraig ruffled her hair before nodding.

"It appears she is, a shame when one is as talented as her."

He glanced around at the other Leaguers in this meeting before he spoke to Superman.

"Before I leave, I wanted to talk to you, Superman. Justinian is going to keep his word. When the year 2025 comes around. When the day comes, he said he wants to have a spar with you, man to man. Consider it a courtesy before Terra is returned to him."

Superman had something to say.

"What happens when Justinian takes over?"

"First, we will do away with all the governments on Earth. We will do away with racial discrimination, undo the damage humanity has done to the planet, and do away with all religions except The Imperial Creed.

Each planet in The Imperium is monitored by a Planetary Governor. We want to put the current President as Planetary Governor. We will only bring good to Terra as Justinian's Father The Emperor wanted. Good luck, Superman."

Without even a flash, Ddraig and Eldora were gone. When that happened, Batman looked to the rest.

"It is too good to be true. When they come, sure they will do what they say, but is that still freedom."

Hawk Man looked over to his wife before he stood up. With a sigh, he held his hand out to her.

"I think this will be my last meeting. Shayera, come with me?"

"Carter, what are you saying?"

"I am saying the fight is lost. What we do now will only cause more pain. We should just not fight. Find our own place in this world."

Hawk Girl from the look of it wasn't fully in agreement with him. J'onn looked down, but he didn't leave.

"That may be for the best. Our struggle against Justinian is meaningless, not only is Mars itself self-aware and sentient, but even now I can feel the planet's psychic might, and the entire Solar System is under Imperial control.

The League is split, we have lost."

That was the cold truth and while Justinian could kill most of them alone, he didn't want to. Sure, he was a ruler, a conqueror, and a ruthless Monarch, but he still had some morals. The League who fought for good most of the time, deserved to live.

Sure they could be annoying, but just because they were annoying didn't mean he had to kill them. He just hoped they may one day come to appreciate his kindness to not blow up Earth and repair it without them.
