The 7th Great God (Overlord Fan Fiction)

Tetsujin Yosei, was a player going by the name of Night Silver in the popular game of Yggdrasil. Making it a point to enjoy the things the real world no longer had, nature, he played as a druid, more specifically a Solo-player Immortal Dark Elf, woman. During the game he quickly rose to popularity for several reasons and was well known to those who kept up with the happenings of solo-players. He had unlocked the fullest potential of the druidic line. Causing others to search for improvements within their own builds. On the very last day the game's servers were online, he spent it enjoying the natural looking environment attempting to spend every last moment with it before being forcibly logged out. But... He suddenly found himself in another world. A world filled with nature, but also ruled by mighty creatures, True Dragon Lords. Joining him were 6 other players, their NPC's and guild base. Together they work to build a nation for the people of this new world to live in. And follow Night Silver's story as she explores the unknown timeline of Overlord's vague history. Times of strife, and times of peace. Night Silver builds a world she can enjoy. And how she changes the story overall. NOTE: I do not own Overlord. This work is purely a fan made series. The Winged Humans (7)

"Huh? No, mommy isn't…" The elven girl started trying to respond.

"Oh my, we have… A young…" The adult said, nearly bending the knee.

"Sir, I think you have the situation confused." An elven woman said as she approached to try and clear the obvious misunderstanding. "Lady Ni, Ah I can't even say it… Mother is our god mother or guardian mother. We show our respect by calling her mother. She is the mother of all elves." The woman tried explaining.

"Oh, so then this girl is showing how close the goddess is to her in her heart then?" The winged human man asked to confirm. His daughter seemed like she was upset about something, indicated by the pout on her face.

"That's right. She's my little girl. But even I call Mother, Mother." The eleven woman explained with a smile, noticing the pout on the face of the little winged human girl.

"I see. So then, how did she learn to use magic? Such a thing has never been done before. Even a spell that small is enough to show promise. Daily life would become so much easier with such a spell. There'd no longer be a need to use wood to boil the water first. We could drink it directly." The man explained as he went into deeper thought. The uses of just this spell alone are extensive. We'd no longer need to carry water with us on our trips, or have to look for a source of water. That second thought is really good, most watering holes are controlled by dangerous monsters or, if you're really unlucky, something worse…

"Can I call the Goddess, mommy too? She felt so warm earlier, just like my mommy." The little girl shyly asked through her pout. She was clearly trying to hide just how much she wanted to do as much but, her wings gave her away completely.

"Pfft, I don't think Mother would mind. She might even respond in kind. Mother is quite caring for her people…" The elven woman answered with a smile as she patted the little girl's head. That actually gives me an idea…

Over inside one of the larger temporary structures, the elders sat with their goddess, Night Silver. The de facto leader of the elves and dwarves were also seated with her. Among her entourage there were a few humans however, there weren't enough of them to warrant a representative here to sit with Night Silver in this meeting. Besides, all of them were going about doing other things like cooking or conversing with the warriors.

"I'll just begin, I want locations where I can help my Dwarven followers to set up their own society. I don't need many, really only one given how few they number. But I do want them to make the decision themselves. So it's best they are presented with a variety of options. Can you provide such information?" Night Silver began by asking the elders for exactly what she wanted. There's no need to hide anything, or beat around the bush with such devoted religious followers. As annoying as it is to be deified like this, it does have its advantages. I only need to use them responsibly, pay their trust and faith in me forward.

"Anything for our Goddess. Helping our fellow people under your name is not a problem." The center elder said, replying as warmly as he could. Right now he is in a very difficult situation… Huh, so this must have been how the elders back then felt… So much rides on our shoulders here. I can't make any mistakes. "We also have a detailed map, it should help aid in making a more informed choice as to the location you desire." He continued, as he unrolled the scroll across the table.

"Impressive! It has so much detail…" The dwarven leader exclaimed. "How did you get so much detail?" He asked, looking it over.

"Well, we can fly. Getting a look at the land below isn't as difficult while flying above it. And we've been working on this ever since we fled our home. It proved to be quite helpful when figuring out which direction to fly in." The center elder answered, seemingly interested in continuing the discussion.

"This really is a good map. I can sense quite the distance away. And I don't see any major issues with this. Certainly nothing that would lead someone astray." Night Silver commented, looking around the whole of the map. "Though, I have a new development to add. Right over here." She said pointing at a place on the map. "There is a group just shy of 20 thousand people from the dwarves, elves and humans. They are ruled by several Dragon Lords. I just came from there actually." She continued explaining.

"Goddess, are those people… Safe in such a situation? Surely those dragons aren't friendly." The left elder asked with terrified wide eyes.

"No, I wouldn't say friendly exactly. But they do fear me enough to know what's good for them." Night Silver answered, quickly putting the worst fears to rest. "That said, one of them seems to have fallen in love with me… And aside from him, his sister is quite friendly. I think if any of the dragon lords wanted my trust, it would have to be her. I must stress this, not all dragon lords are bad. It's just that your tribe experienced one of the bad ones, of which there are many." She continued.

"I trust your word, Goddess. But forgive me for what I must say, I have a tough time believing that one could be good." The right elder said, trembling yet firm in his words.

"Oh, that's fine. Even in that place there is a couple I might never trust. Which is why I have taught my elven children a lullaby. When they sing this lullaby it opens a view for me to witness what's happening. It lets me bless their children from afar whenever they are born. While also providing a safety measure in times of crisis. My elven children will always find themselves able to call upon my protection." Night Silver explained, now looking a little concerned. "Ideally I'd like to teach it to other races, however it's in a language only elves can understand… Which is why it's such a strong reaction." She lamented momentarily.
