Opposing Sides

"We're almost there, get ready in the gunner Phoenix." "Wait what! something, coming out of the upper atmosphere! They're huge. I don't know what it is." Zero says with a quiver of fear. "Motherships." Shade mumbles over the comms. All of a sudden 4 huge ships come out of the air and immediately begin firing at the 6. "Oh hell yeah, let em have it!" Ember says with excitement, As she begins firing. "Arming weapons and cannons, Phoenix, you ready? says Kai. "Ready as I'll ever be!" Phoenix replies. "Let's kick some alien ass!" Yoru yells. All of them begin firing at the huge ships. Ember and Yoru spin around and begin firing every which way. The shots ripple off the ship's shields and they keep firing back. "Aim for the generator, it will disable the shield! Shade yells. Ember and Yoru fly into a formation and fire at a large generator on the side of the ship. WHOOOOSSSHHH. The ship's shield disables and Phoenix fires a perfectly placed shot right through the front blowing up the whole front of the ship, the ship begins to crumble and blow up sending burning pieces of rubble falling through the air. "YEAH!! Ember yells. 1 down 3 to go Phoenix says with a hint of pride. "Ember, Kai lets fly into formation. Line up in front of the next ship. Kai get on your roof." Yoru says. "Wait what!" Kai exclaims in shock. "Just do it you big baby! Ember get your eject button ready!" Yoru exclaims like a madman. "Autopilot on." Ember and Yoru say as they press buttons on their control panel. Kai climbs up on the roof out of the hatch. And tries to stand without getting blown off by the wind or incoming fire. Zero jerks the ship hard to the left. "Oh shit!" Kai yells as he grabs the edge of the engine as he flies through the air. "Phoenix, blow that shit before Zero kills him up there!"Yoru yells. "Got it." She fires, knocking down the shields. Kai climbs back up on the roof. "Jump now!" Yoru yells. Ember, Kai and Yoru all jump up and fly out of there ship's flying straight toward the front glass of the alien cockpit. "I'm gonna cut these assholes in half!"Yoru yells to the others.(Also I gotta see what these two can do!) "WHO WANTS TO HAVE A BLOOD BATH HAHAHAHA!" Ember says with a maniacal voice. They shatter through the glass. Ember jams her claws straight into an aliens chest causing it to screech in pain. Yoru dices an aliens head clean off it shoulders the force from the blade destroys the technology behind it and Kai jams 

the end of his Bo Staff through an aliens eye socket, as he pulls out his pistol and fires multiple shots through its chest. With a loud painful screech the alien plummets to the ground. "Who's next!" Kai says playfully. The three of them slaughter the aliens on the ship as they run through, defeating any alien that tries to stop them. They run into the reactor room. The reactor is huge and towering. "This must be the reactor. "Do we have to blow this up, Can't I just steal the reactor chip?" Ember says in sorrow… "You can't because, because… THAT'S A GREAT QUESTION. I DON'T KNOW!" Yoru attempts to explain. " We don't have time! Ember plants some repulser charges, let's blow this hell hole!"Kai says. Then out of the door crawls multiple aliens surrounding them, "This is gonna be fun…" Yoru says. It shows outside where Zero is flying the ship around trying to dodge incoming fire as Phoenix fires at the third mother ship. All of a sudden a big burst of cannon fire vulperizes the front of the weapons system of Kai's ship. "Phoenix, I don't mean to alarm you but we don't have any more weapons. They are indeed fried." Zero says. "You still have one weapon!" Shade yells over the comms as she fires a huge burst of magic and crushes the front of the mothership. It crumbles as she can hear aliens screaming as they fall out of the front of the ship's cockpit. "Damn, remind me to never piss her off." Phoenix says. It shows Kai, Yoru and Ember, surrounded by enemies. They all begin to jump and swipe at the 3. "Screw it. DUCK! Ember yells as she throws a grenade in the air and blows up all of the aliens. She then walks on as if nothing happened as Kai and Yoru look at each other in awe. She then climbs over onto the reactor shaft and plants a couple of  charges on the side. "Let's move. We got one minute." as she gestures to a countdown timer in her hands. Outside the battle continues as Zero tries to fly around avoiding wreckage and fire. Shade then tries to stop the final mothership but cannot because she is two tired. "Ohh shit, shit!" Zero yells as he gets his ship hit by wreckage. Inside, They continue to run through cutting through even more aliens. "I've programmed our ships to be ready at the hangar for us to jump Yoru, Kai try to jump to mine."  Ember yells as she removes the arms of an alien with her claws. "I'll try!" Kai says fearfully. They enter the hangar and run toward the edge. 10 seconds left, hurry! The hangar door begins to close as they run full speed. Ember and Yoru push past Kai and jump out and land on their ships, KWOOOSHH an alien fires at a barrel filled with oil creating an explosion sending Kai flying out the side of the hangar plummeting down, down toward his death. As in the background the mothership explodes. "KAI!! Yoru and Ember yell. "What's wrong?" Zero asks as he loses focus. BOOMM!! A laser bolt from the final mothership hits the engine of Kai's ship, sending Phoenix and Zero spinning and falling. "Brace yourself!!" Zero yells. We need to bail! He adds. As he jumps out of his seat and grabs Phoenix and swings her up out of the gunner seat and on to his back. As the back door opens Zero jumps activating his rocket boosters. Slowly floating down to the ground. It shows Kai falling down. "Well I'm about to die, I guess I had a good run, ohh god I think I'm gonna puke! As his armor begins to catch fire as he gains more and more speed, and continues to fall, and pieces of his armor break off. "Shade can you grab him!?" Ember says terrified for her friend. Shade then sees Kai and begins to fly faster and faster, trying to grab him, "He's gonna hit the ground!" Yoru yells. CLUNK! "I got him! Shade exclaims. As she tries to save her  landing on the coastal beach, she tumbles and rolls with Kai. Followed by Zero and Phoenix who land safely and behind them lands Yoru and Ember they all run over to Shade who is now standing up and Kai who is now lying unconscious on the beach. "Kai,  can you hear me. Kai wake up." Phoenix says shaking him. "Don't shake him, you could give him head trauma. I'll deal with him." Ember says while resting him in the sand. Then she runs to her shuttle and grabs a medical kit and runs back. She begins to make a very strong smelling herb water. "This should help with any internal bleeding and injuries. The strong smell should partly wake him up." Ember says confidently. " Zero you mind sitting him up please?" Ember says kindly. Zero first lifts up Kai, Ember reaches down and reveals his face for the 1st time. It shows a burnt, bearded face with short hair and brown eyes.  They put the water to his lips, he drinks the water and 30 seconds later he wakes up. "Uhg, my head. Is everyone okay?" Kai askes. "You're awake, thank god." Phoenix says with releaf. "Yeah we're all here. How are you feeling?" Ember asked worriedly. "Fine, just a little sore. What about shade? Is she ok?" "Yeah, she's been up and moving around." Phoenix says. "Now  you all have all seen my face" Kai says trying to take his mind away from the throbbing pain in his head. "Guys…. I think we have a problem…" Yoru says grimly looking up in the air. Suddenly flying out from the final mothership comes hundreds of alien dropships. Ember reaches down to Kai's arm and lifts him up. "Can you stand?" Ember asks him. "I think I'm gonna have to,"Kai says trying to make a joke. The dropships land on the beach, around a hundred metres away, all of them lining up one by one. Hundreds of aliens walk out, looking once again like a black wave covering the beautiful beach.
