Kai skin was the color that almost resembled charcoal. His muscles were bulging every second as if his body couldn't relax. Fiery Claws had taken the place of his nails. Fangs had appeared in his mouth and his eyes glowed intense crimson red. Flames started to run through his body but the flames were tainted by red in the outer area.

Arthur glanced up and saw Kai shivers run through his spine. The aura emitting from him was generating a presence of a high ranking warrior.

"His power has to be at least Rank A" Arthur said, his eyes then landed on Darya who was near the beast but was being ignored by it. Arthur was crawling his way to her as he spoke.

"Kai what the hell are you?"

The ground under Kai was trembling and even small cracks started to appear by the mere pressure of Kai's power.

Kai didn't even notice this sudden quest as he was too blinded by rage. His legs muscles tensed up, he took a lower stance and then jumped forward. This action was responded to in kind bg the wolf as he too jumped.

Kai's body twisted in mid air as he delivered a roundhouse kick to the beast head. The fire scorched the fur on his left side of the face, but it paid no attention to it.

As it swung his arm viciously towards Kai. Kai was mid air so he unconsciously used a skill.

As if he could step in the air, Kai appeared behind the wolf while he opened his hands and slashed the beast with all his might. The beast groaned in pain, but it quickly retaliated but Kai was too fast for him.

The wolf was fast but not as fast as sound, Kai continued this but his stamina couldn't support it but he didn't care.

He traded blow after blow, kicks after kick, punches after punches, slashes after slashes.

While the fight was still taking place Darya opened her eyes abruptly. Looking around only to find Arthur next to her bleeding.

"Are you ok?" She tried to stand but it was impossible.

"Don't bother that monster got you pretty good" Arthur said as he leaned back on the tree.

But unknown to him Darya was already starting to heal. Darya then looked around and heard what could only be described as beast fighting.

"Wait Kai!" She then tried once again to stand up but this time she used the tree as support.

"Don't worry he's fine I guess" Arthur said worried.

Darya couldn't believe her eyes. She saw Kai fighting almost on equal footings with the abomination. But his appearance had changed drastically and not just his appearance. Darya's eyes glowed as she scanned Kai.

"His aura has changed. What is this?" She said in her head.

"Assimilation" The voice in her answer but after that it kept quiet.

Darya did notice that Kai was running out of stamina. If this continues Kai's body could suffer from mythic exhaustion.

Darya started to gather water in her hand to make her strongest attack aimed towards the leg of the wolf. Arthur seeing this stood up support led by the tree. He then created a small thunder ball signaling Darya to join her attack.

Kai's body was bleeding and he was breathing heavily. But the wolf was in no better condition; they were currently in a staring contest seeing who would attack first.

But he sensed something and looked towards it and it was a water blast targeting the wolf, but it wasn't all as the water blast then got covered in thunder and it even increased the attack's speed.

The beast seeing this wanted to jump but just as he was about to Kai appeared on top of it and swung his hands down with all his strength.

Planting the beast on the ground it was now on all fours, he then grabbed the beast neck pinning him down. The wolf widened its eyes as the attack hit.

The force was too great as even Kai got blown away, Although it was a good thing since thunder then covered the beast's body.

*Roar*

It roared in anger and pain. It was a shocking scene. Kai then heard a weak scream.

"END IT NOW!" Both Arthur and Darya scream as they then pass out. It was the remaining strength.

Kai's body light violently in fire as he dashed towards the kneeling wolf and with his claws out made the motion of an uppercut.

Blood started to cover Kai's hand as the beast drew its last breath. The body then started to revert back but not completely as half of it was still the wolf but in a normal human size.

The fire around Kai died as he took his hand out of the beast. The heart was still in his hands while the grip got tighter and the heart exploded. He left dizzy but now there was no time to waste.

He was going to gather the blood when suddenly his heartbeat went up.

Kai then got a vial from the system for the blood he needed for Layla. Then he picked up Darya and Arthur. He then rushed to the academy and entered his dorm room.

He then left in his room and bought from the system's shop two healing potions which was something he didn't think existed in this world.

But it actually did. Kai just didn't know that so he thought of it as a special item only the system had.

He poured it into their mouths and then let them rest.

"What do I need to do for an antidote?"

Kai then bought blessed water from the system he now had 0 gold.

He mixed the two and gave it to Layla who finally breathed easily.

The team started to suck every blood from the man's body. Its skin grew paler and his skin wrinkled, in each of the syringe was small leech-like creatures. They then scan the body and the screen of the machine displayed 100%.

"It's done!" One hooded person shouted after that they vanished into thin air.
