As the Oujou-sama of the Ryuju family, Momo didn't have her own circle of acquaintances. Sadly— Most people kept their distance from her or even ran away. In the past three years, this girl has become more unapproachable as her facial expressions became sharper and more intense for her age.
"Hm… What…" Even when she spoke to me, right now, I could hear her sharp voice, or I could say she often let out an irritated tone from her mouth. Which made sense why many kids her age were afraid of her.
She even raised her eyebrows and it even twitched. I wonder if that's what people call a teenage rebellion phase. Isn't she still too young for that—
"I don't know why, but I sensed that you were thinking impolite things about me." Momo said while glaring at me.
"Well, I was just thinking how could someone cute like you, who several months ago always wanted to play together like a cute girl, become someone wild like this. I wonder if this is what people call the rebellion phase." I replied while acting like wiping my tears in sadness.
"Geez, that's happening because I don't waste my time playing with you before I enter junior high school."
Well, at least she still acted pretty cute. Even so, it didn't stop me from commenting, especially when I heard her answer.
"Geez, what are you? Sandy before hibernating."
"Ugh, Stop remembering the past— It's embarrassing." Momo shyly waved her arm, and I saw her blushing, making me nod and think that 'Yeah, this is fine.'
"Also, this is your fault too—" Momo said those words to me after she calmed down.
"My fault?"
"Yes. Because you started to become busier and busier—which rarely gave you time to play at my house."
"Yeah, so—"
"Grandpa became moody when I entered junior high school. He, who never tried to make me learn martial arts, actually came to me and brought me to the dojo!"
"Oh, are you telling me that Ryuju-san is teaching you about martial art?"
"Yeah, because of that, my playing time is decreasing, and that training is tiring—"
"That's… Well, I'm sorry about that." I couldn't help but respond like that since I knew how hard the training was, and someone who always liked playing games and chilling out wouldn't be happy with it.
"Ugh, if you think about why I'm not rejecting him. You know that we couldn't refute our grandfather's will."
"Ahahaha, that's true."
"How can you laugh like that— As I thought what Grandpa said to me is true."
"Hm… what he said?"
"Well, he said I could bring you to this place by myself." Momo said while staring at my face.
"Haha, what's that old geezer thinking?" I could only laugh. Well, it seems that the old geezer really wants to bring me into the family.
As soon as I arrived at Momo's home, she immediately brought me to the dojo. Different from before since she always went toward her room to play games or do other things. This time she went along with me to the dojo.
Ryuju-san, already in the dojo, waited for me.
"Oh, You're here too, Momo?" He asked.
"Yes, I want to see what you two are doing after all." She replied while sitting near the two of us in such a good posture.
"Well—" I wanted to say something, but it looked like Ryuju-san had another plan.
"Hm, usually you don't want to have anything to do with our family business. It's good that you are eager to learn like your grandfather; I'm really happy. Hahaha." He laughed while smacking my back several times with such vigor. He sounded really happy.
"But—"
"What? Perhaps you didn't want Momo to know? Well, she might have some interest because it's your problem."
"Ha— Fine."
"It's fine. I knew that people like Aqua are something like— Hm—Blackhearted? Anyway, someone who is always up to something not good." Momo said while gazing at me with sparkling eyes filled and expecting something from me.
"I wonder how you know that kind of stuff—"
"A game!"
"What kind of game is that?"
"Hm, I think it's called a bishoujo game or something."
"Ugh, geez— what are you playing?"
"Ahaha, I don't know what you two are talking about. But it sounds funny? Anyway, this is the information you wanted." Ryuju-san said while giving me a paper about the information. Of course, this kind of stuff could be given by message or email. But he would do something like this when he wanted to meet me in person.
"So after he focused on America after the success of the first movie, he went to China several years ago— And it looked like he met that person. Huh—"
"Yeah, the person from those gossip magazines… What's his name… Jimina? Yeah, it looks like he had been working in the background?"
"Idol underground, huh— I don't think there's any problem here. It isn't making a big buck after all."
"Yeah, ah— these are people that just joined their group a few days ago."
Ryuju gave me another page of the paper, which had several pictures of girls this time. At first, I didn't feel particularly interested or care about this until I saw two similar faces that I saw from my previous, which were actually two other girls from Hololive and the same generation as Tokino Sora.
One of them was a beautiful girl with golden eyes and long black hair that slowly transitioned to red, which she was no other than Roboco-san. The other girl was a beautiful young girl who had long black hair, with parallel pinkish stripes on the back of her hair and on her pony one strip pink and white. This girl was Azki, who I knew at first was a singer rather than a streamer.
But this girl had beautiful, charming pink eyes resembling Ai's and Sora's. Those beautiful stars in her eyes made me realize and feel something was not right or good about this situation. Even though not as bright as those two, it was still there.
I remembered what Hikaru did in the manga and what he did to Ai too. That's why, in my head, even though they may have found her accidentally. I thought Hikaru may have used this person to search for people with those star pupils.
Even though she wasn't as bright as the people I knew. It was still there, and it worried me truly. No, maybe that black mist I saw from that person years ago was truly a signal. A signal that the person named Jimina wasn't dangerous toward me but actually to tell me something.
I wonder if that black mist tried to tell me something. Well, Hikaru in the manga is depicted as someone who searched for people with star pupils and killed those people who had them.
Did those mist tell me to save her or something? Well, it wasn't a hard choice to make.
"Ryuju-san, could you help me with another one?"
"Hm? What do you want?"
"Well, I want you to take care of something."
"He— Take care of something. Huh— Well, okay then."
