Saving the fated one

Adventure trio exclaimed about me just commanding ifrit to stop at my words. While I transformed to my goblina form picked up her mask, while running my skill continuosly, put it over her face and said " Like I said, It's going to be alright, Shizue san".

Picked her up, princess carried all the way to bedroom and placed her there. I advised the adventure trio to give her some space and they went.

She called me out and I sat by her side. Since mask is on, the ifrit went back and stabilized her energy. She is not aging or too weak to standup like in novel so she still hasn't given up her will to live unlike in story.

She then explained to me her burden about the children and about the students, her mission to meet demon lord Leon. And finally asked me a question: "Should I live anymore?"

I looking at her said after a moment: " You know shizue, last week i went to Dwargon to procure some skilled worksmen. I joined their invitation for a nightbutterfly elf shop .." She blushed. Looks like she knows the place. Hehe.

"Any way there was one fortune telling elf there, she showed me my destined ones or people i am fated with. Do you know who she showed me are ? ..Here let me show you" 

I then proceeded with thought communication to show my memory of the crystal showing her, the children and velgrynds photo."

She is blushing heavily now. Well fated person can be other than partner in marriage but she doesn't need to know that.

" So you can see I will encounter with them at some point and being informed by you i will mostly help them. Afterall I know how to help them if their situation is as you mentioned." I said with a smile in my face but whether it will shown in slime form is for only shizue to know.

"Really Rimuru san, will you do that for me? " Shizue asked.

"Yes" I replied and she said then she was happy. But her face saddened immediately saying

"But I won't be there to witness that happiness with you , Rimuru San, I am a partly a majin not a human being any more my life force is running out and i am aging and i am sure you are only reason ifrit is not raging and if i go back, the situation will happen anytime."

I said to her " You know shizue, I am a selfish guy. Since you are my destined one you are not going anywhere. You will be with me when I help them and you will help me even later in my life."

She looked at me blushing and it sound a lot like a confession.

"There are many ways to save you actually.

One is to seperate ifrit from you and attach you a egoless spirit which fully fuses with you for you to be reborn as a majin. With my powers i can create an egoless being and engrave unique skills of fire type or other you need for combat to it. I could get information from Ifrit inside your body but to do that i might need to fully analyze you within me by eating you. Then step by step recreating you a human body and placing your spiritual medium inside it. But the problem is, you now is not a fully mortal human being. You are a semi spritual being as you were slowly being eaten by Ifrit from inside. I haven't analysed a human body before or eaten it. So reconfiguring your body will involve a lot of calculation that just isn't possible with my unique skill good at computation.(Raphael can definitely do it easily.) and I don't know if healing skill of mine could be useful for reversing your aging. 

Other is to integrate with you a spirit with ego summoned by me and order to help you, while you can still be human. This also requires me to devour you first.(For your skill deviant actually).But there is still the problem I said before you are not a fully human, you are a partly ifrit spiritual body itself. The spiritual compatibility with other spirits may be lower. Then you will age faster and won't be long.

The last is to devour you fully and leave your astral body and root to be within my soul subspace .You will be within me and could in turn come out as my clone or temporary control over myself and eventually when i am powerful enough, i could bring you back to life in anyway you want."

"So every way require me to be eaten ha?" she said while crying slightly.

" I have a premonition that I will be busy in coming weeks so If I need to do either 1st or second, it needs a lot of time and it won't be possible so only option is 3rd."

Looking at her changing facial expressions, I am sure she is having difficulty saying to me that she would be content even if she died, I decided to give a final push.

" As I said before I am selfish, so I will be saving you forcefully Shizue Izawa, my fateful one. If you feel life is not fair for you, let me make it better" I said whille smiling.

She cried for a few minutes and made up her mind and went to meet the rest of the adventure trio and informed about her condition and she also said that she will be spending her last days here and to tell fuze, guild master in blumund about this. She didn't tell the truth because i didn't permitted her to do so.

Ellen cried saying she will stay with her till end, but shizue insisted they go early and report their investigation about forest to fuze and report about ifrit explosion and how Rimuru saved shizue and other things.

After a while, I went up to them and asked them " say aren't your equipment a little too crappy" 

They seem shocked and betrayed while I ordered kaijin to bring the new equipment made for them. And gave goodbyes to them while giving an advise to not poke anything randomly in this forest. Once they were gone, I went back to shizue.

Now I am alone with Shizue in my room.

I asked her if she is ready, and she said Okay and closed her eyes and stood defenseless infront of me. I went closer and gave a short peck on her lips, but before she could question me i went, "Gluttony". A black energy filled her and she is no more.

"Rest now Shizue Tempest." I renamed her.

Ha that was satisfying. I am pretty sure if i only have predator, i won't be able to consume her entirety of she didn't relax her defences. Only Gluttony has soul consumption.

while we are at that, i went to check with great sage which already extracted deviant from her and then sage used deviant to seperate shizu and ifrit, and the soul mediums were safely moved to soul subspace and veldora's side respectively. And while Great sage went on to preserve the body using body heal and analysis, I have used SoulForge Harmony on shizue's astral body and nuceic core to extract memory and writing them directly in her astral soul from the memory device of mortal body to preserve her ego.

Placed the entire spiritual body inside a new subspace created entirely for her and used heal soul subskill on her and she is now asleep and resting.

I saved shizue a little earlier than in the story so I could visit ogre tribe to inform them about incoming danger and try to save them. I transformed into Shizue's female form and produced her clothes reinforced with magic and they are sturdied and used some of the steel thread to reinforce it some way.

I am still younger than her in appearance with lavender hair color.
